NCT ID: NCT05339997 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Kidney Diseases

Evaluation of Respiratory Function and Functional Capacity in Pediatric Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Start date: February 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is defined as a permanent abnormality in kidney structure or function that persists for more than 3 months (for example, glomerular filtration rate [GFR] <60 mL/min/1.73 m2 or albuminuria ≥30 mg/24 hours) and, it effects the 8% to 16% of the population worldwide. In pediatric patients with CKD, exercise capacity begins to decline in stage 3 of the disease and progressively decreases in stage 5, in dialysis and transplant patients (4, 5). Reduction in respiratory muscle strength and six minute walk test (6MWT) is observed in patients with CKD treated with hemodialysis (HD).The aim in present study is to evaluate the relationship between functional capacity and respiratory functions in stage 1-5 pediatric chronic kidney disease patients.

NCT ID: NCT05339880 Recruiting - Arrythmia Clinical Trials

Relation Between Oculocardiac Reflex and Laryngospasm

Start date: January 4, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The aim of this study is to evaluate whether there is a significant relation between various arrhythmias during the surgeon's stretching the eye muscles and laryngospasm and emergence agitation in strabismus surgeries

NCT ID: NCT05339828 Completed - Recurrence Clinical Trials

Unroofing Curettage for Pilonidal Disease

Start date: April 27, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aimed to investigate the outcomes of patients who underwent UC as the primary intervention for simple or complex SPD

NCT ID: NCT05339776 Completed - Body Image Clinical Trials

Hand Lateralization by Using EEG Analysis Method in Amputees

Start date: March 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Studies on the improvement of body image or body perception have proven their effectiveness in different clinical situations such as pain management and chronic pain treatment. The aim of this study is to evaluate the hand lateralization cognitive task by recording Electroencephalography (EEG) signals from different personal perspectives in amputees. In this study, the paradigm in which personal perspectives are evaluated over the hand lateralization task will be applied to amputees and healthy volunteer participants. Data will be recorded via EEG and Eprime software program.

NCT ID: NCT05339724 Completed - Clinical trials for Platelet Levels and Mean Platelet Volume in Patients With CF

Platelets in Cystic Fibrosis Lung Inflammation

Start date: April 8, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a chronic multiorgan disorder caused by mutations in the CFTR (cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator) gene. Chronic airway infection by bacterial pathogens accounts for the progressive, suppurative pulmonary disease that leads to significant morbidity and mortality in patients with CF. Neutrophil recruitment to the lungs accounts the most important contributor to pulmonary destruction. However, there is evidence that platelets may also have an important role in the pathogenesis of inflammation. To our knowledge, there is few information in platelet levels in patients with cystic fibrosis during pulmonary exacerbation, chronic airway colonization and when stable.

NCT ID: NCT05339711 Completed - Hemodialysis Clinical Trials

Effects of Robotic Cat and Betta Fish Therapies in Hemodialysis Patients

Pet Therapy
Start date: May 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The research was carried out as a randomized controlled trial to examine the physiological and psychological effects of robotic cat and Betta fish therapies in hemodialysis patients.

NCT ID: NCT05339516 Recruiting - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

The Association Between Urinary Incontinence, Physical Performance, Physical Activity Levels in Women With Low Back Pain

Start date: November 29, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The study is searching for the correlation between low back pain(LBP), physical performance, urinary incontinence and physical activity levels in women. Lower physical performance, more frequent urinary incontinence and less physical activity are expected in women who have LBP.

NCT ID: NCT05339035 Not yet recruiting - Motivation Clinical Trials

Digital Game Addiction in Adolescents

Start date: May 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The research will be carried out on students studying at public secondary schools in the city center of Amasya. First of all, the digital game addiction levels of secondary school students who are randomly divided into experimental and control groups will be determined, and then students with digital game addiction will be included in the individual motivational interview program, which will last 6 sessions. In the last stage of the research, hippotherapy will be applied to the students 1 day a week for 8 weeks. The effect of motivational interviewing and hippoterain on digital game addiction will be investigated by pre-testing at the beginning of the research and post-testing at the end.

NCT ID: NCT05338788 Completed - Cervical Pain Clinical Trials

Balance Performance in Dual Task in Patients With Cervical Disc Herniation Related Chronic Neck Pain:a Comparative Study

Start date: May 20, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Intense pain and moderate disability are seen most patients with symptomatic cervical disc herniation (CDH). Since neck motion and motor control are associated with changes in neck pain and disability, it is highly likely that patients with neck pain related disability would display dual-task interference (DTI) during postural control with a cognitive task. It is very important for patients with cervical disk herniation to perform more than one task at the same time for many activities of daily living. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare balance performance in dual task between patients with CDH related chronic neck pain and asymptomatic controls.

NCT ID: NCT05338645 Completed - Menopause Clinical Trials

Sexual Functions and Marital Adjustment for Spouses in Menopause

menopause
Start date: September 14, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Objective: This study was conducted as a cross-sectional descriptive study in order to determine the effect of menopause on the SFs and marital adjustment of the spouses.
