There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Enteral nutrition protocols are applied in patients who do not have gastrointestinal dysfunction but in whom oral feeding is contraindicated. In these patients, where drug use is also necessary but alternative drug administration routes are not possible, drugs can be given to the patient through enteral nutrition tubes. However, there are studies reporting errors and complications during drug administration from the enteral nutrition tube. With the planned thesis study, it is aimed to develop an evidence-based checklist and to reduce the rate of errors and complications in drug administration through enteral feeding tube with this checklist.
The goal of this clinical trials to evaluate precision of different scanbodies in same participant group. The main guestion it aim to answer is: 1. Are the precision of the three different scanbodies used in direct digitalization the same for the produce of implant-supported prostheses? Participants are healty and have short edentulous span in posterior region that will receive implant-supported prostheses.
The goal of this experimental study is to determine the effect of therapeutic play method applied to hospitalized children aged 7-12 before the first surgical dressing attempt, on anxiety and fear. Researcher will compare the study and control groups to see if therapeutic play has an effect on anxiety and fear.
The aim of the study is to examine the effect of including mothers with newborn babies in surgical intensive care units during the nursing care process on mother's self-confidence and mother-infant attachment.
This experimental, prospective, and randomized controlled study was designed to determine and compare the effects of applying manual pressure and ShotBlocker methods in reducing pain and fear during the subcutaneous insulin injection for children with Type 1 diabetes mellitus. A parallel trial design was used describing two intervention (manual pressure and ShotBlocker) and a control group (no intervention used) as the third arm. The study population consisted of children aged 6-12 years, diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes mellitus, administered insulin injections, able to cognitively score their pain and fear levels, who wanted to participate in the study, and gave verbal and written consent to participate in the study. The study sample composed of 90 children based on confidence interval of 95% and statistical power of 80%. Each intervention and control group was matched in terms of gender. In the study, the randomization of the sample group was performed by using stratification and block randomization methods.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of prophylactic SerpinPC in participants with Hemophilia B with inhibitors, as part of the SerpinPC registrational program.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of prophylactic SerpinPC administered subcutaneously (SC) to participants with severe hemophilia A (HemA) (with or without inhibitors) or moderately severe to severe hemophilia B (HemB) (without inhibitors) as part of the SerpinPC registrational program. This study consists of 3 parts: Part 1: dose-justification phase, Part 2: dose-confirmatory phase, Part 3: extension phase for participants who complete either Part 1 or Part 2. This adaptive design study has a randomized dose-justification component to investigate the efficacy and safety of SerpinPC as a therapeutic option, principally for participants with HemB without inhibitors. SerpinPC has a novel mechanism of action compared with marketed treatments and those that are in development.
The literature shows the positive effects of regular physical activity and sports on executive functions. It is seen that the low reaction times of the athletes increase their success and prevent injuries. However, as a result of the examinations, no studies were found that examined the relationship between the reaction times of the athletes and their executive functions. In this context, it is aimed to examine the relationship between reaction time and executive functions in amateur female athletes who play team sports.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and activity of divarasib combined with other anti-cancer therapies in participants with previously untreated, advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
In this study, it was aimed to develop a reliable and valid scale to measure the self-care behaviors of women with endometriosis.
