NCT ID: NCT05251441 Active, not recruiting - Premature Clinical Trials

The Effect of Time to Start Breast Milk Fortifiers on Neonatal Outcomes in Very Low Birth Weight Premature Infants.

Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In the study, very low birth weight babies born in our hospital will be randomized in the closed envelope method, and breast milk fortifier will be started when 50 ml/kg/day breastfeeding volume is reached in one group, and breast milk enrichment will be started when 100 ml/kg/day enteral feeding is reached in the other group. In the study, the babies in these two groups will be compared by making early (nutrition characteristics and premature morbidity) and long-term follow-ups. In this study, a 30% reduction in the transition time to full enteral nutrition between the groups corresponds to a difference of approximately 5 days. In our study, the sample size was determined as at least 78 patients in each group, with a margin of error of 0.05 and a power of 80% to show the 5-day difference between the groups.

NCT ID: NCT05245071 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Tusamitamab Ravtansine in NSQ NSCLC Participants With Negative or Moderate CEACAM5 Expression Tumors and High Circulating CEA

CARMEN-LC06
Start date: June 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label single group, Phase 2, 1-arm study for treatment to evaluate efficacy, safety, and Pharmacokinetic (PK) of tusamitamab ravtansine in nonsquamous non-small-cell-lung-cancer (NSQ NSCLC) participants with negative or moderate CEACAM5 expression tumors and high circulating carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Participants who will be enrolled, will receive tusamitamab ravtansine as monotherapy every two weeks (Q2W) until disease progression, unacceptable adverse event (AE), initiation of a new anticancer therapy, or the participant's or investigator's decision to stop the treatment, whichever comes first. A total of approximately 38 participants are planned to be treated.

NCT ID: NCT05242172 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Corona Virus Infection

THE RELATIONSHIP OF CRP/ALBUMIN RATIO LEVEL AND PROGNOSIS IN PREGNANT COVID-19 PATIENTS

Start date: January 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The CRP/albumin ratio (CAR) is a recently defined parameter which represents the ratio of a positive acute phase reactant to a negative acute phase reactant. Recent studies have shown that the CRP/albumin ratio is a biomarker with prognostic value for various inflammatory disorders and serious diseases. With this study it is aimed to investigate the effect of CRP/albumin ratio in predicting the severity and prognosis of the disease in pregnant patients with more severe Covid-19 infection.

NCT ID: NCT05239728 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Renal Cell

A Study of Belzutifan (MK-6482) Plus Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Versus Placebo Plus Pembrolizumab in Participants With Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Post Nephrectomy (MK-6482-022)

Start date: March 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of oral belzutifan (MK-6482) plus intravenous (IV) pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to placebo plus pembrolizumab, in the adjuvant treatment of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC) post nephrectomy. The primary study hypothesis is that belzutifan plus pembrolizumab is superior to placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to disease-free survival (DFS).

NCT ID: NCT05238974 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of MEDI8897 for the Prevention of Medically Attended RSV LRTI in Healthy Late Preterm and Term Infants

MELODY
Start date: July 23, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antidrug antibody (ADA) response for MEDI8897 in healthy late preterm and term infants who are 35 weeks or greater gestational age and entering their first RSV season.

NCT ID: NCT05234541 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Upper Extremity Surgery

Measurement of Cut-off Perfusion Index Value in Infraclavicular Blocks

Start date: July 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

To investigate the value of the cut-off perfusion index showing that the block is successful in infraclavicular blocks performed under ultrasound guidance.

NCT ID: NCT05232825 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis

A Phase III, Non-Inferiority, Randomized, Open-Label, Parallel Group, Multicenter Study To Investigate The Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Safety And Radiological And Clinical Effects Of Subcutaneous Ocrelizumab Versus Intravenous Ocrelizumab In Patients With Multiple Sclerosis

Ocarina II
Start date: May 3, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, immunogenicity, and radiological and clinical effects of subcutaneous (SC) administration of ocrelizumab compared with the intravenous (IV) infusion of ocrelizumab in patients with either relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) or primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS).

NCT ID: NCT05232188 Active, not recruiting - Treatment Outcome Clinical Trials

Effect of Renal Access Sheath on Functions

Start date: December 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Patients will be randomly divided into two groups in order to evaluate the effect of the size of the access sheath (Amplatz) used in the Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) operation on kidney functions. After dilatation, 22French (Fr) Amplatz sheath will be placed in the first group, while 28Fr Amplatz sheath will be placed in the second group. The functional difference will be evaluated with preoperative and postoperative 3rd-month kidney scintigraphies (diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) and technetium-99m dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA). In addition, Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (KIM-1) levels will be measured in the urine in order to be a predictor of functional loss in the early period.

NCT ID: NCT05229757 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Children With Cerebral Palsy

The Effect of Family Education on Functional Level, Activity Level and Families in Children With Cerebral Palsy

Start date: May 19, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The activity status of children with cerebral palsy between the ages of 3 and 18 who participated in the physiotherapy program in special education institutions throughout the province of Gaziantep was evaluated. The effect of the family education to be given on the activity status of the children and the psychosocial status of the families was investigated. The individuals included in the study were divided into two groups as patient and control. In the beginning, the scales used to determine the activity status and the scales to determine the depression status of their families were applied in order to determine the status of both groups. Children with cerebral palsy in the patient group received treatment in a special education and rehabilitation center two days a week for 8 weeks. Individuals in the control group were followed up with a home program. After 8 weeks of treatment, the same tests were repeated and it was examined whether the family education provided made a difference in children with cerebral palsy and their parents.
