There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The goal of this to determine the effect of a digital game-based application on learning satisfaction and self-confidence in the acquisition of subcutaneous drug administration skills by nursing students. The research hypotheses it aims to answer are: - Hypothesis 1: The subcutaneous injection knowledge level of the students who are educated with the digital game method is higher than the students who receive the traditional education. - Hypothesis 2: The subcutaneous injection skill test scores of the students who were educated with the digital game method were higher than the students who received the traditional education. - Hypothesis 3: The satisfaction and self-confidence level of the students who are educated with the digital game method towards subcutaneous injection is higher than the students who receive the traditional education.
The plantar fascia is a thick, multi-layered, non-elastic fibrous tissue band that extends along the plantar surface of the foot. The configuration of the plantar fascia is generally considered as a dense, longitudinally arranged fiber band divided into medial, central, and lateral components. The most significant functional role of the plantar fascia is to maintain the arch structure of the foot, providing a stable support base while standing and absorbing dynamic reaction forces during walking.Pes planus is a rather general term with many definitions. Staheli described pes planus as a "foot with a broad base of support," commonly known as flatfoot in layman's terms. In a study involving 80 female participants aged 65 and older, 90% of foot deformities observed while standing were identified as pes planus. Generally, pes planus is a condition characterized by excessive pronation of the rear part of the foot and a lowering of the medial longitudinal arch. During the push-off phase of walking, the pronation moment generated by the ground reaction force flattens the arch as the subtalar joint rotation combines. The shift in position in the talus bone causes the navicular bone to drop. The plantar calcaneonavicular ligament tightens, and the tibialis posterior muscle lengthens. Abnormalities in the bones of the foot, dysfunction of the tibialis posterior muscle, Achilles tendon shortening, or muscle weakness can contribute to pes planus. Individuals with pes planus may experience foot and leg pain with exercise, physical activity, and prolonged walking, which can limit their level of physical activity. Research has examined the relationship between pes planus and various physical parameters, and it has been found that one of these parameters, balance, is negatively affected by the presence of pes planus.
The present study aims to determine frequency of thromboembolic complications and the underlying causes of this complication of the patients who admitted to the intensive care unit diagnosed with COVID-19.
The main purpose of this study is to learn more about the safety and efficacy of investigational tirzepatide doses in participants with Type 2 diabetes and obesity that are already taking metformin. The study will last for about 89 weeks.
Objectives: This research was planned to examine the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the post-traumatic stress symptoms of nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Design: Single-blinded study with parallel groups. Setting: Faculty of Nursing. Participants: 60 first-year students studying at the Faculty of Nursing were randomly assigned to the intervention (n=30) and control (n=30) groups. Method: Data were collected using the Information Form prepared by the researcher and the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist for DSM-5. The intervention group was collected online three times, before the cognitive behavioral group therapy, at the end of the therapy and three months later. Group intervention program based on cognitive behavioral approach of ten sessions; face-to-face, the intervention group was divided into two separate groups and each group was completed in approximately one and a half months (May-June 2022), two days a week. Follow-up measurement was completed in September 2022. While group therapy was applied to the intervention group, no intervention was made to the control group.
The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of preoperative patient education given by three different methods on the level of perioperative anxiety in children aged 4-7 years. The research was carried out between 1 June - 31 November 2021 at Tekirdag Namık Kemal University Health Practice and Research Center, Department of Pediatric Surgery. A total of 66 patients, 22 patients in each group, who met the inclusion criteria and were included in the stratified randomization method, were included in the planned quasi-experimental study. Research data were obtained by using the "Patient Diagnosis Form" and the "Anxiety Scale in Preschool Children" administered before and after the surgery.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate pathological complete response (pCR) rate of coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab (MK-4280A) or pembrolizumab as assessed by blinded central pathology review (BICR) in participants with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) [Cohort A] and to evaluate lenvatinib in combination with coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab or pembrolizumab with respect to objective response rate (ORR) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) 1.1 as assessed by investigator in participants proficient in mismatch repair (pMMR) endometrial cancer (EC) [Cohort B].
1. The primary aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the length of ICU stay and a newly developed FIVE score in neuro-intensive care patients. 2. The secondary objectives are to evaluate the impact of the FIVE score on hospital length of stay, Modified Rankin Scale, and mortality, as well as to determine the correlation between the GCS, FOUR, and FIVE scores
The goal of this clinical trial is to test intracranial blood flow and cerebral oxygenisation changes in patients who have pneumoperitoneum in laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedure. The main questions aim to answer are: - How does pneumoperitoneum in laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedure changes blod flow in patients? - Are there any differences between Near-Red spectroscopy and transcranial doppler ultrasonography assesment? Participants will be diagnosed with using NIRS probes and Doppler ultrasonography probes if any changes in surgical procedure. Researchers will compare NIRS and TCD detection outcomes to see if there is any differences.
To determine whether body awareness and upper extremity functionality are affected in patients with or without lymphedema development after breast cancer surgery in comparison with individuals without a history of cancer.
