The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of TV-44749 in adult participants with schizophrenia. A key secondary objective is to further evaluate the efficacy of TV-44749 based on additional parameters in adult participants with schizophrenia. A secondary objective is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of TV-44749 in adult participants with schizophrenia Another secondary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of TV-44749 from baseline to endpoint in Period 1 in adult participants with schizophrenia. Total study duration is up to 61 weeks, and treatment duration is up to 56 weeks, with weekly visits during the first 8 weeks and then monthly in-clinic visits with weekly calls during the remainder of the treatment period.

The Effect of Self-Care Insufficiency Care Model and Mobile Application Supported Care on Symptoms and Quality of Life of Gastrointestinal Cancer Patients

Remarkably, the incidence of gastrointestinal cancer cases among cancer types is increasing. Gastrointestinal cancers are one of the 10 most common cancer types in the World. This increase worldwide is remarkable, especially due to the increase in urbanization, consumption of foods rich in animal fat, insufficient dietary fiber intake and lifestyle changes. Cytotoxic therapy, which is used in the treatment of malignant diseases, can cause serious complications in gastrointestinal cancer, distinguishing it from other types of cancer. In addition, patients experience symptoms such as nausea-vomiting, mucositis, diarrhea, and constipation much more severely due to the direct effects of these agents on the gastrointestinal system. For this reason, patients' compliance with the treatment process and their quality of life are seriously affected, and patients have difficulties especially in meeting their self-care needs.

Effect of Restoration Margin Level in the Treatment of Gingival Recession Associated With Non-carious Cervical Lesion

The aim of this randomized, parallel-group clinical trial was to compare the 1-year periodontal, root coverage, esthetic, and patient-centered outcomes of the partial restoration placement with different apical margin levels combined with coronally advanced flap (CAF) plus connective tissue graft (CTG) in the treatment of isolated gingival recessions associated with non-carious cervical lesions (NCCL). Forty patients with single gingival recessions (RT1 gingival recessions and class B+ NCCL) were randomly allocated to either placement of restoration apical margin at the level of estimated cementoenamel junction (CEJ) or within 1 mm apical to the CEJ. Two weeks after the restorative treatment, all recession defects were treated with CAF combined with CTG. Periodontal measurements were taken at baseline, and 3, 6, and 12 months postoperatively. Patient-centered outcomes were evaluated at baseline, and 7, and 15 days, 6, and 12 months postoperative follow-ups. Modified root closure aesthetic score (mRES) was used to assess aesthetics at 6 and 12 months follow-ups.

The Effect of WhatsApp-Based and Face-to-face Nursing Education on Mothers' Quality of Life and Traditional Practices

Introduction: The postpartum period is very important and is a suitable period for women to gain healthy lifestyle behaviors. Studies in the literature show that women with high quality of life have a more comfortable postpartum period. If the needs of women are not met in the postpartum period, there may be an increase in traditional practices for mothers. For this reason, postpartum education is very important for maternal health. Various ways can be used to provide education to mothers. With the development of technology, education given over mobile applications has often found a place in studies. The face-to-face education format, on the other hand, remains up-to-date. It is not known for certain which form of education is superior to the other. Testing the superiority of these two training methods to each other will eliminate the question marks in this area. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of WhatsApp-based and face-to-face nursing education and counseling given in the postpartum period on mothers' quality of life and traditional practices. Method: The experimentally planned study will consist of three groups including WhatsApp, face-to-face and control group. The universe of the research will be composed of women hospitalized in Sivas Numune Hospital Aseptic Service. A total of 180 people will be taken into the sample of the research, 60 of which are in the WhatsApp experimental group, 60 in the face-to-face experimental group and 60 in the control group. Training videos for the postpartum period will be sent to the WhatsApp experimental group via WhatsApp. Face-to-face training will be given to the women in the face-to-face experimental group by the researcher, and the handbook containing the training content will be distributed to the women. Women in both experimental groups will be supported by providing counseling over the phone (message, meeting if needed). No attempt will be made to the control group. The participant introduction form and the Turkish version of the world health organization quality of life scale (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) will be used to evaluate the data of the study. The data will be evaluated with the SPSS 28 program.

Sarcopenia, according to EWGSOP2(European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People-2019), is a progressive and generalised skeletal muscle disorder that is associated with increased likelihood of adverse outcomes including falls, fractures, physical disability, and mortality. Changes in muscle strength and muscle mass that occur with aging are not only limited to the skeletal muscles surrounding the axial and appendicular skeleton, but also occur in the respiratory muscles. With aging, respiratory muscle strength decreases, muscle mass decreases, and respiratory functions decline. In sarcopenic individuals; maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP), maximum expiratory pressure (MEP) and diaphragm muscle thickness values were found to be significantly lower. It is known that exercise is the most effective and valid way to treat sarcopenia. Considering the positive effects of IMT (Inspiratory Muscle Training) on both respiratory and physical parameters in the elderly population, we think that these changes can also be observed in sarcopenic individuals. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the effects of inspiratory muscle training on diaphragm thickness, inspiratory muscle strength, and exercise capacity in sarcopenic individuals.

Therefore, the aim of this study perform the validity and reliability study of the lower extremity position test to evaluate proprioception sense in individuals with MS.
