There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of video game-based exercises applied in addition to the cardiac rehabilitation program applied after open heart surgery, on pulmonary function and functional independence in the acute state. After ethics committee approval is received; Patients who volunteer to participate in the study will be divided into two groups by simple random method. The first group will be given a 12-week cardiac rehabilitation program after bypass surgery, and the second group will be given video game-based exercise training together with the cardiac rehabilitation program for 12 weeks. It is planned to apply the cardiac rehabilitation program to both groups twice a day during the postoperative period until hospital discharge. The patient's cardiac rehabilitation program after hospital discharge will be carried out in the cardiac rehabilitation unit three days a week. Evaluations will be made in the preoperative period (within one week before surgery) and at the end of the 12th postoperative week.
Failure to properly manage the perioperative period of patients is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Preoperative evaluation in patients planned for surgery contributes to reviewing possible perioperative risks, optimizing the patient's functional and physiological status, and reducing the possibility of perioperative complications. Assessments made during the preoperative evaluation process can be used to educate the patient, organize resources for perioperative care, and formulate plans for intraoperative care, postoperative recovery, and perioperative pain management. However, the effect of preoperative evaluation on patient outcomes has not been clearly demonstrated. In this study, the effect of preoperative anesthesia evaluation on perioperative complications was investigated.
The study will be conducted with the randomized controlled experimental method. The purpose of this research is to determine the cyberbullying awareness training given to 7th-grade secondary school students' awareness levels of cyberbullying. Students will be randomly assigned to groups by lottery method. After the randomization students in the intervention group will be given 'Cyberbullying Awareness Training'. The cyberbullying awareness level of all students will be determined with the 'Cyberbullying Awareness Scale' before and 3 months after the training. Students in the control group will not be educated. The cyberbullying awareness level of the students in the control group will be determined with the 'Cyberbullying Awareness Scale' when they are included in the research and 3 months later.

Joint hypermobility is a clinical condition characterized by joints having a range of motion beyond their normal limits. Joint hypermobility (JH) makes the joints more vulnerable to trauma in individuals with increased joint range of motion, changes in neuromuscular reflexes and decreased joint position sense. Individuals with JH have difficulty in stabilization and end of extension range of motion compared to healthy individuals. Accordingly, findings such as balance problems and an increased risk of falling occur in these patients. Recent evidence suggests that children and adults with JH may be identified with seemingly unrelated, common clinical problems such as chronic fatigue, anxiety, and a range of gastrointestinal functional disorders. The use of internal and external focus in learning motor skills is important in terms of performance and activity. In the external focus of attention (EF), attention is directed to movement and an environmental stimulus. In the internal focus (IF), attention is directed directly to body movements. In revealing positive effects in external focus; Methods such as metaphor, analogy, imaginary objects, mental analogies can be used. Adopting an external focus of attention (focusing on the effects of movements on the object or environment), as opposed to an internal focus of attention (focusing on body movements), has been found to significantly improve performance on a variety of tasks. For example, to improve balance performance, while a patient performs a single-leg balance task on a Bosu ball, the therapist may instruct the patient using an internal focus of attention such as "minimize movement of the feet." However, instructions can also be given externally by changing just one word, such as "minimize Bosu's movement." Additionally, a metaphor (e.g., "stand still as if stuck to Velcro"), analogy ("imagine being on top of a mountain, stay on the mountain!"), an object attached to the body ("keep the tape stuck to the chest still"), or the target of the movement An imaginary object (e.g., straight line) of which a mental image is obtained has been used within external focus instructions.
Rhinoplasty surgery is being performed in increasing numbers in our country and around the world. After rhinoplasty surgery, patients experience swelling and bruising (ecchymosis) in their eyes. Many methods have been used to reduce this edema and bruising. Some of these methods are surgical techniques, medications, and supportive treatments used during and after surgery. (cortisol, vitamins, ice applications, etc.) When the literature is examined, there is currently no consensus on methods that reduce swelling and bruising. Again, in meta-analysis studies, there is no prominent or definitive method for reducing bruising and swelling. In our clinical observations, it has been observed that edema and bruising are significantly less common in tourists coming to our country from abroad. The idea that the reason for this may be that tourists walk a lot when they come to Istanbul, they want to travel a lot and see new places, has emerged as a hypothesis in our minds. The relationship between the number of steps taken during the day and postoperative edema-ecchymosis has not been examined before in the literature. In this respect, we think that our study will contribute to the literature.
Purpose of the research; To determine the effect of basic yoga techniques and meditation intervention on midwifery students' anxiety and perceived stress levels. Yoga is alternative mind-body exercises that aim to establish a connection between the brain and body. Derived from the Sankiritic term "yuj", yoga means to integrate. Yoga techniques focus on self-awareness and require careful coordination of body movements/postures (asanas), deep breathing (pranayama) and meditation. Yoga can be used as a complementary and alternative method for various diseases or improving well-being. Yoga is becoming increasingly important in improving mental health. In this planned study, we aim to manage the anxiety and perceived stress that students studying in the field of health mostly suffer from with yoga techniques. After the sociodemographic data of the volunteer participants who agree to take part in the research are identified and recorded in the first stage, the screening phase, according to the power analysis, the minimum number of participants determined will be assigned to the experimental and control groups by randomization. In the second stage of the research, the experimental group; Yoga techniques and meditation practices (once a week for 8 weeks) will be performed at times when anxiety and stress are most intense (before exams, laboratory and hospital applications). Students in the control group will continue their routine coping habits with anxiety and stress. Students will complete pre- and post-intervention surveys to assess changes in anxiety and perceived stress. The anxiety and stress levels of students in both groups will be determined by applying the "Beck Anxiety Inventory" and the "Perceived Stress Scale" before and after the intervention. The data obtained after the interventions will be compared with appropriate statistical analysis and converted into a report. The proposed research aims to provide scientific research skills and experience to the 2nd year students of Atatürk University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery, who are involved in the project. In addition, it is expected that the proposed project will show how it affects the anxiety and perceived stress levels of midwifery students in the international media and literature and emphasize its positive effects on the management of the well-being of these individuals.
