The study is researching an experimental drug called odronextamab, referred to as study drug. The study is focused on patients with previously treated aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma whose cancer has stopped responding to treatment (also known as 'refractory') or has returned (also known as 'relapsed'). The aim of the study is to see how effective the study drug is compared to standard of care (SOC) therapy. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: - What side effects may happen from taking the study drug versus SOC - How much study drug is in your blood at different times - Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug (which could make the drug less effective or could lead to side effects) - Comparing the impact from the study drug versus SOC on your quality-of-life and ability to complete routine daily activities

Follistatin Levels in Metabolically Healthy and Unhealthy Obese Individuals

There is no clear boundary on which obese individuals should be considered metabolically healthy and which should be considered metabolically unhealthy. It is also not very clear whether the individuals who are considered metabolically healthy will remain healthy in the future. The objective of this study was to assess potential disparities in serum follistatin levels between these two distinct groups. Furthermore, the study sought to investigate whether this disparity could serve as a reliable indicator for distinguishing between metabolically healthy and unhealthy obese individuals.

Orbital Artery Doppler Ultrasound in Brain Death

Brain death is the irreversible loss of all activity in the brain, brainstem, and cerebellum, the part of the central nervous system that remains inside the skull. The clinical diagnosis of brain death should be supported by ancillary tests that provide information about cerebral blood flow or electrical activity in the brain. Some of the ancillary tests that evaluate cerebral blood flow include transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TDUS), computed tomography (CT) angiography (CTA), and catheter-based cerebral angiography. This study hypothesized that Orbital Doppler ultrasonography (ODUS) alone is more effective than TDUS in detecting intracranial blood flow in diagnosing brain death. To this end, the investigators examined the results of ODUS in patients diagnosed as brain dead who underwent CT angiography.

Effects of Therapeutic Play on Anxiety and Fear

This study was carried out as a randomized controlled experimental study in order to evaluate the effect of therapeutic game use on anxiety and fear levels before indwelling catheter intervention in children aged 6-12 years followed in the hematology oncology service. A simple randomization method was used to assign children to groups. Ethics committee and institutional permission was obtained for the research. Research data were obtained from a total of 80 children, 40 interventions and 40 controls, hospitalized in Istanbul Medical Faculty Pediatric Hematology Service between October 2022 and August 2023. Data; It was evaluated with the information form, child follow-up form, Child Anxiety Scale- State (ÇAS-D) and Child Fear Scale (CCS). For those assigned to the intervention group among the mother and child who signed the informed consent form; Before the indwelling catheter intervention, the children were shown the procedure on the amigrumi knitted baby developed by the researcher, the catheter application area was explained through the cardiovascular image and the catheter to be inserted was shown as an example. For those assigned to the control group; No intervention was applied other than the hospital's normal procedure. Data were evaluated using the SPPS 26 (IBM Corp. IBM 1989, 2019. SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 26.0. Armonk, NY: IBM Corp.) package program. It was determined that the MCQ and ÇAS-D scores of the children in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (p˂0.01). It was determined that the mean CTA and respiratory rate of the children in the intervention group just before and 2 hours after the application were lower than the control group (p<0.001). According to the results of the research, it was determined that the therapeutic game applied before indwelling catheter intervention in children between the ages of 6-12 was effective in reducing children's anxiety and fear.

Effect of Inspiratory Muscle Training in Operated Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

In adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), if the appropriate treatment approach is not applied, the patient's general health condition is negatively affected by the deterioration of pulmonary function. Although studies in the literature evaluate individuals with AIS and investigate the effects of exercise training on their functional capacity, no study has been found examining the effectiveness of post-surgical respiratory muscle strength training (IMT). Therefore, this study was designed as a randomized controlled study with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of IMT in the early post-surgical period in individuals with AIS. Participants included individuals diagnosed with AIS, for whom a surgical decision was made by an orthopedic surgeon, and who could cooperate in the tests to be conducted. Twelve patients were in the IMT group, and 12 were in the sham group. Pulmonary function and respiratory and peripheral muscle strength were measured. Functional capacities were assessed using the Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT). Disease-specific quality of life (QoL) was evaluated through the Scoliosis Research Society-22 (SRS-22) and Oswestry Low Back Pain Questionnaire, while dyspnea was assessed using the Modified Medical Research Council (mMRC) scale. In the IMT group, IMT was provided at 60% of the Maximum Inspiratory Pressure (MIP), while in the Sham group, IMT was provided at 5% of MIP.
