There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The specific aims of the present study were to evaluate sAA responses to impacted third molar extractions at different time points in the patients under conscious sedation with local anesthesia and to examine the relationship between sAA, conscious sedation and dental anxiety. The null hypothesis was that conscious sedation could be considered to reduce salivary alpha amylase level during the wisdom tooth surgery.
Psoriasis Vulgaris is a chronic, recurrent, inflammatory and hyperproliferative skin disease. Joint involvement is common along with skin involvement. However, metabolic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases can be accompanied by many systemic diseases, chronic and repetitive due to the quality of life and psychological status of patients can affect. For this reason, patients carry out various research on their diseases on social media and follow programs on these issues in other media such as television and radio. However, there is no study on how much patients are interested in these publications, how much they trust them, and how they reach and organize information via social media. The aim of the study will be to clarify how and how patients with Psoriasis Vulgaris use social media to obtain information about the diagnosis and treatment of their disease, the interaction of patient groups with each other, and how often social media is used, especially in which group of patients.
Today, although the treatment is repetitive, chronic and requires follow-up due to the disease patients can turn to alternative and complementary medicine techniques. In recent years, studies on alternative medicine and complementary therapies have been noted in the medical literature. These studies also include Case Reports related to psoriasis vulgaris. However, in our country, there is no study that tells us whether patients with psoriasis vulgaris apply these treatments or not and what the practitioners think about the success of the treatment. The aim of the study will be to clarify issues such as whether patients with Psoriasis Vulgaris apply alternative medicine and complementary therapies for their disease.
When the studies in the literature are examined, no study has been reached to examine whether median nerve mobilization causes changes in two-point discriminatory values in healthy individuals. This study aimed to investigate the effect of median nerve mobilization exercise on two-point discrimination in healthy adult male and female participants. Secondly, it was aimed to determine the role of variables such as gender, age, BMI (weight in kilograms, height in meters and weight and height will be combined to report BMI in kg/m^2), smoking, dominant extremity and physical activity level in 2-point discrimination.
It is a treatment that activates and strengthens the immune system against cancer. Recently, T cell receptors have been genetically rearranged by adaptive T cell therapies, which are promising in the fight against cancer, and are now able to recognize antigens on tumor cells. These modified T cell receptors are called chimeric antigen receptors. Many previous clinical studies have shown that different CAR-T cells are effective in relapse / refractory B cell cancers and NHL.
Grip strength can be decreased in lateral epicondylitis. Pinch strength is also affected in people suffering from lateral epicondylitis. In this study, participants will be evaluated using a hydraulic dynamometer, a pinch meter and we will evaluate pain, disability and quality of life.
Purpose of the study is; to investigate the acute effects of exercises combined with blood flow restriction on strength, proprioception and functional motor performance in healthy individuals. The investigators hypothesized that blood flow restriction exercises has a positive effect on strength, proprioception and functional motor performance.
To compare the incidence of lymphocele in Endometrial cancer patients with thrombin gel matrix used and not used during pelvic lymph node dissection.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of platinum-based chemotherapy with or without INCMGA00012 in participants with metastatic squamous and nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Infraclavicular nerve catheter for postoperative analgesia will be included in the 70 adult patients undergoing upper extremity surgery included in the study. These patients will be randomized to the catheter tip configuration as CEMP (closed-ended multiport catheter) group and OESP (open-ended single port catheter) group. Patient controlled analgesia device will be attached to the peripheral nerve catheter of these patients. Demographic data of the number of pushing the button, the amount of bolus dose given, the total dose given in the patient controlled anesthesia device, the need for additional analgesia and the amount, pain scores, complications will be recorded for three days postoperatively. Records will be compared statistically.
