There are about 3709 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Thailand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study is open to people with generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP). People can only take part if they have completed treatment in a previous study with spesolimab (1368-0013 or 1368-0027). The goal of this study is to find out how well people with GPP tolerate long-term treatment with spesolimab. The study also tests whether spesolimab helps improve GPP symptoms and how quickly the symptoms improve after a flare-up. Every participant gets spesolimab for almost 5 years (252 weeks). Depending on their symptoms and whether they had a GPP flare during the previous trial, they get spesolimab every few weeks. When participants have a GPP flare during this trial, they get spesolimab as an infusion into a vein. Participants visit their doctors regularly. During these visits, the doctors collect information on any health problems of the participants. To assess the study endpoints, doctors regularly check participants' skin.
The purpose of this study is 1) to evaluate the safety and tolerability of V114 with respect to the proportion of participants with adverse events (AEs) and 2) to evaluate the anti-pneumococcal polysaccharide (PnPs) serotype-specific Immunoglobulin G (IgG) Geometric Mean Concentrations (GMCs) at 30 days following the last dose for each vaccination group. There is no formal hypothesis testing in this study.
This is a randomized, double-blinded study to evaluate the analgosedative effect of ketamine in a surgical intensive care unit. The patients who will receive continuous fentanyl infusion for either pain control or sedation will be recruited in this trial. Fentanyl will be titrated with initial loading doses of 20 mcg until the numeral rating scale(NRS) less than 4 or critical care pain observation tool (CPOT) less than 3 or Richmond agitation sedation score (RASS) -2-0. Then the patients will be randomised in to receive saline infusion in control group (Group C) or ketamine infusion in ketamine group (Group K). Ketamine will be administered with an initial bolus of 0.3 mg/kg followed by a perfusion of1.5 mcg/kg/min during the first 48 h. The dose of fentanyl will be protocolized adjusted according to NRS or CPOT or RASS. We tested the research hypothesis that low-doseketamine infusion is associated with a reduced fentanyl dose without increased vulnerability to its psychotropic effects.
The study compares 2 medicines used for the treatment of children who are born small and who stayed small: somapacitan given once a week (a new medicine) and Norditropin® given once a day (the medicine doctors can already prescribe). Participants will either get somapacitan or Norditropin® - which treatment is decided by chance. Both participants and the study doctor will know which treatment the participants get. The study will last for 5 years. Participants will take either an injection once every week or once every day.
Aprepitant and olanzapine have been recommended for emesis prevention from highly emetogenic chemotherapy. We hypothesized that olanzapine may lead to less nausea compared to aprepitant based on previous study. However, data of combination of olanzapine and ondansetron is scarce.
The aim of this prospective, observational study is to establish a dataset on the frequency of bleeding events, as well as other characteristics of bleeding events and FVIII infusions, in patients with clinically severe hemophilia A receiving prophylactic FVIII replacement therapy as standard of care. The data collected from this study may assist in providing baseline information for comparison to the Spark's investigational hemophilia A gene therapy in future Phase 3 studies.
Durvalumab or Placebo in Combination With Gemcitabine/Cisplatin in Patients With 1st Line Advanced Biliary Tract Cancer (TOPAZ-1)
- Does stepping training with or without external feedback change functional ability of ambulatory patients with iSCI immediately after training? - Are there significant differences between the immediate effects of stepping training with or without external feedback in ambulatory patients with iSCI?
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of 4 or more DNA-repair gene defects in a population of men with metastatic Prostate Cancer (PC) and to use the reported DNA-repair gene defects to assess biomarker eligibility for niraparib interventional studies.
The main objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of dimethyl fumarate (Tecfidera) and peginterferon beta-1a (Plegridy), both compared with placebo, in pediatric participants with RRMS. The other objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety and tolerability of dimethyl fumarate and peginterferon beta-1a and to assess the effect of dimethyl fumarate and peginterferon beta-1a, both compared with placebo, on additional clinical and radiological measures of disease activity.
