The purpose of the study is to assess the responder rate as defined by the achievement of the primary goal from the Goal Attainment Scale following one BoNT-A injection cycle in accordance with routine practices.
Kuvan® is a synthetic copy of a body's own substance called tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4). BH4 is required by the body to use an amino acid called phenylalanine in order to build another substance called tyrosine. Kuvan® received marketed authorisation in Europe in December 2008 and is now available in several European countries for the treatment of Hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA). The primary objective is to assess the long-term safety in subjects treated with Kuvan®. Secondary objectives are to provide additional information regarding: - Safety in specific subject groups (elderly, pediatric, pregnant women and subjects with renal or hepatic insufficiency). - Growth and neurocognitive outcomes for subjects with hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA) who are receiving treatment with Kuvan®. - Progress and outcome of pregnancy for women with HPA who become pregnant while receiving treatment with Kuvan® (these women will be enrolled in a dedicated sub-registry). - Assessment of adherence to diet and to Kuvan®. - Assessment of long-term sensitivity to Kuvan®treatment.
The purpose of this trial is to investigate the potential benefits/risks regarding pretreatment with prasugrel in non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) participants with elevated troponin scheduled for coronary angiography/percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
The trial will be performed to evaluate if BIBF 1120 in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin is more effective than placebo in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin in first-line treatment of patients with advanced ovarian cancer. Safety information about BIBF1120/paclitaxel/carboplatin will be obtained.
The objective of the current study is to investigate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of BI 10773 at two different doses compared to placebo during long term treatment (78 weeks) in combination with basal insulin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with insufficient glycaemic control.
This observational, non-interventional cohort study will evaluate predictors of response in patients with chronic hepatitis B receiving standard of care Pegasys therapy. Efficacy and safety parameters will also be evaluated. Patients included in the study will be followed for the duration of their treatment and for up to 3 years thereafter.
This randomized, double-blind, parallel group study will assess the safety, disease remission, and prevention of structural joint damage in patients with early moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis treated with tocilizumab as monotherapy or in combination with methotrexate, versus methotrexate alone. Patients will be randomized to receive either (A) tocilizumab (8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus placebo, (B) tocilizumab (8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly), (C) tocilizumab (4 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly), or (D) placebo plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly). Patients in groups C and D who have not achieved low disease activity at week 52 can receive tocilizumab 8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks. Anticipated time on study treatment is 104 weeks.
