There are about 359 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Panama. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The study is being done to see how well the study cream works when applied once a day to affected area of child (where they have ringworm). The results will be compared to those seen with a placebo cream which has no active ingredient. Safety of the cream will also be measured.
The purpose of this study was to collect safety and tolerability data on LCZ696 in eligible PARADIGM-HF patients who received open-label investigational drug. The parent PARADIGM-HF (NCT01035255) trial was terminated early due to compelling efficacy of LCZ696 in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) after the final pre-specified interim analysis in March 2014.
This study will assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and anti-viral effect of single and multiple doses of ALS-008176 in infants hospitalized with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
Allogeneic (not from the subject) human umbilical cord tissue-derived stem cells administered intravenously (IV) in a series of 4 infusions every 3 months over the course of one year is safe and will induce a therapeutic effect in autism patients.
This trial assessed the efficacy of optimized re-treatment therapy with omalizumab (150mg or 300mg) after relapse, in participants with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria who were clinically well-controlled following their first course of treatment with omalizumab (150mg or 300mg). The study also assessed the benefit of uptitrating to 300mg dose in participants who were not well-controlled following their initial course of treatment with omalizumab 150mg, as well as the benefit of treatment extension of those patients who were not well-controlled following their initial course of treatment with omalizumab 300mg.
The purpose of this study is to select the optimal formulation of the norovirus vaccine from different concentrations of virus-like particles (VLP) combined with aluminum hydroxide for further development in children.
Background: Worldwide, injuries from trauma represent a major public health problem. The World Health Organization (WHO) has deemed this problem as one of the most important global priorities, calling 2011-2020 the 'Decade of Action for Road Safety'. Despite this, there is little empirical data in low and middle-income countries quantifying the burden of musculoskeletal injuries. Methods: INORMUS is a global, prospective, multi-center, observational cohort study. The primary objective of the study is to determine the mortality, re-operation and infection rates of musculoskeletal trauma patients within 30 days post-hospital admission. The INORMUS study seeks to enroll 40,000 patients from low-middle income countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Phase II, observer-blind, randomized study on the safety, reactogenicity, immunogenicity and impact on intestinal shedding of a single dose of monovalent high-dose inactivated poliovirus type 2 vaccine (m-IPV2 HD) or a single dose of standard trivalent inactivated poliovirus vaccine (t-IPV) when given concomitantly with the third dose of bivalent oral poliovirus vaccine (b-OPV) to infants early in life
The purpose is to investigate the Efficacy and Safety of Symbicort pMDI 80/2.25 μg and Symbicort pMDI 80/4.5 μg, Compared with Budesonide pMDI 80 μg, 2 Actuations Twice Daily, in Children Ages 6 to <12 Years with Asthma during 12 weeks.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of GSK Biologicals' HZ/su vaccine administered on a 0- and 1- to 2-months schedule in adults 18 years of age or older who are receiving chronic immunosuppressive therapy.
