There are about 2459 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in New Zealand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
To assess the safety of xenotransplantation of NTCELL [immunoprotected (alginate-encapsulated) choroid plexus cells] in patients with Parkinson's disease, assessed over the duration of the study, by monitoring the occurrence of adverse events and serious adverse events, including clinical and laboratory evidence of xenogeneic infection in transplant recipients and their partners/close contacts. Subsequent safety follow-up will include lifelong monitoring for clinical and laboratory evidence of xenogeneic infection. To assess the efficacy of xenotransplantation of NTCELL [immunoprotected (alginate-encapsulated) choroid plexus cells] in patients with Parkinson's disease. This will be quantified by testing the secondary endpoints of the trial as described below (see Endpoints/Outcome Measures).
A multicenter, randomized, open-label, active-controlled Phase 3 study for the maintenance treatment of anemia in participants with Non-dialysis-dependent Chronic Kidney Disease (NDD-CKD)
The primary objectives of this study are to compare the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of upadacitinib 30 mg once daily (QD) and 15 mg QD versus placebo for the treatment of signs and symptoms of adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who were on a stable dose of csDMARDs and had an inadequate response to csDMARDs.
A4091064 is a multicenter, long-term observational study of subjects from tanezumab interventional studies (regardless of treatment group) who undergo a total knee, hip or shoulder replacement during participation in the study. The study is designed with a total duration of subject follow-up of 24 weeks after the total joint replacement surgery. There will be two methods of data collection utilized in this study: interview by site staff via the telephone and interactive web-response system (or paper if the subject has no access to the internet).
This study is being to see how effective and safe ALS-008176 is in treating adults in the hospital with a Respiratory Syncytial Virus-Related Illness.
This trial studied the safety, pharmacokinetics, and antitumor activity of the anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody (mAb) BGB-A317 (tislelizumab) in combination with the poly(adenosine diphosphate ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor BGB-290 (pamiparib) in participants with advanced solid tumors.
This randomized, double-blind study will assess the safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy of a single and multiple dose(s) of orally QD administered EDP-494 in healthy volunteers (HV) and in treatment-naive subjects with GT1/3 chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection.
The objective of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of the COVERA™ Vascular Covered Stent for the treatment of stenotic lesions in the upper extremity venous outflow of the Arteriovenous (AV) access circuit.
A multicenter, randomized, open-label, active-controlled Phase 3 study for the correction of anemia and maintenance of hemoglobin (Hb) in participants with Non-Dialysis-Dependent Chronic Kidney Disease (NDD-CKD)
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of treatment with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir/voxilaprevir (SOF/VEL/VOX) fixed-dose combination (FDC) for 8 weeks and of treatment with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir (SOF/VEL) FDC for 12 weeks in participants naive to direct-acting antivirals (DAA) with chronic genotype 3 hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and cirrhosis.
