There are about 13332 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Netherlands. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of treatment with Kiacta in adult patients with AA Amyloidosis.
Patients eligible for hormone ablation therapy who are prescribed Firmagon will be followed for a maximum of 3 years to estimate the progression free survival. Data on testosteron levels, QoL and LUTS will be collected if this information is available. Safety information (adverse events) will be collected.
The main objective is to investigate the postprandial effect of arginine-rich protein (i.e. pea-protein) on metabolic control, inflammation and endothelial function after a high-fat meal in subjects with characteristics of the metabolic syndrome.
This study will evaluate efficacy, safety and tolerability of Avastin versus placebo added to a chemotherapeutic regimen in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The anticipated time of study treatment is until confirmed evidence of disease progression, and the target sample size is 500+ individuals.
To demonstrate whether tolvaptan modifies ADPKD progression as measured by changes from Baseline (from Study 156-04-251) in total kidney volume (TKV) and renal function.
Since the first implant in September 1982, the Medtronic Hancock® II has provided more than 20 years of excellent hemodynamic performance and durability. Design improvements over the past generations include: low profile, flexible stent, Supra-X™ supra-annular placement, T6 anti-calcification tissue treatment, modified fixation process, CINCH® advanced implant system and ULTRA™ minimized sewing ring. Valve sizing is a critical consideration in obtaining optimal hemodynamic performance. This is particular true in small aortic roots. A critical issue is the size of the prosthesis in relation to the patient's annulus. The objective of this clinical study is to evaluate, at six and twelve months, the hemodynamic performance of the HancockÒ Ultra™ bioprosthesis in the aortic position, to analyze the incidence of patient prosthesis mismatch, correlation of gradients, and to ascertain frequency at which a larger valve size is used vs. a patient's debrided annulus diameter.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, immunogenicity and clinical activity of GSK2241658A antigen-specific cancer immunotherapeutic (ASCI) for the treatment of patients with non-operable and progressing metastatic cutaneous melanoma.
The purpose of this study is to determine the benefit of enzalutamide versus placebo as assessed by overall survival and progression-free survival in patients with progressive metastatic prostate cancer who have failed androgen deprivation therapy but not yet received chemotherapy.
The overall study design includes two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A evaluated ANA773 following oral administration to healthy volunteers. A total of 40 evaluable healthy volunteers were enrolled in Part A of the study. Part B evaluated ANA773 following oral administration to patients with chronic HCV infection. A total of 34 evaluable patients were enrolled in Part B of this study in 2 study centers.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of axitinib, a potent angiogenesis inhibitor, on tissue and clinical outcome in combination with chemotherapy given to patients with mesothelioma
