NCT ID: NCT05081557 Recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess Real-World Use, Safety, and Effectiveness of Oral Upadacitinib in Adult and Adolescent (>=12 Years Old) Participants With Atopic Dermatitis

AD-VISE
Start date: November 17, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Atopic dermatitis (AD; also known as atopic eczema) is an inflammatory skin disease. The safety and effectiveness of upadacitinib for AD has been well-documented in previous studies, however, important information is missing on the use patterns and outcomes with upadacitinib in a real-world setting. Therefore, the purpose of this observational study is to help inform real-world usage patterns regarding the safety and effectiveness and duration of response of upadacitinib in adolescent and adult AD participants >=12 years old in the real-world setting. Upadacitinib is an approved drug being developed for the treatment of AD. Around 975 adolescent and adult participants who are prescribed upadacitinib for the treatment of AD in routine clinical practice will be enrolled worldwide. Participants will receive oral upadacitinib as prescribed by their physician. Data from these participants will be collected for approximately 2 years. There will be no additional burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the course of the study at a hospital or clinic and will be asked to provide additional information by questionnaire at each visit.

NCT ID: NCT05080829 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, in Relapse

Myeloid Mutations Register in R/R CML

Start date: March 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study is to know the percentage of ABL mutations in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia that relapsed or are refractory to tyrosine-kinase inhibitors measured with a myeloid mutations panel by NGS.

NCT ID: NCT05074420 Recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

A Study of Baricitinib (LY3009104) in Children With COVID-19

COV-BARRIER
Start date: December 21, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose for this study is to determine if the study drug baricitinib is effective and safe in hospitalized pediatric participants with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID -19) and to confirm the dose.

NCT ID: NCT05074264 Recruiting - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

Screening Algorithms for Cervical and Anal High-Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions in People With HIV in Mexico and Puerto Rico

CAMPO-101
Start date: November 30, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial aims to find what different tests work best to find high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) in the cervix or anus in patients living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Patients with HIV are at high risk of becoming infected with human papillomavirus (HPV) in the cervix or anus where it can turn into cancer over several years. HPV causes changes to the cervix and anus, known as HSIL. This means that there is an area of abnormal tissue on the top layers of the cervix or anus. It is considered cervical or anal cancer if the abnormality spreads down into the layers of tissue below the top. If found early, many cases of HSIL can be treated before turning into cancer. Screening for cervical or anal cancer detection or HSIL associated with HPV may result in earlier treatment, if necessary, for patients living with HIV.

NCT ID: NCT05068557 Recruiting - Obesity Clinical Trials

EPICO: (Study for the Pro-resolution of Chronic Inflammation in Obesity. Original Acronym From Spanish)

EPICO
Start date: September 24, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA have long been acknowledged for their capacity to counteract inflammatory responses in the human body. Understanding the impact of the dietary intake of these fatty acids along with others (such as ARA) involved in inflammation is essential for prevention and treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases as it is obesity and its comorbidities. The role that the EPA and DHA play in the inflammatory processes can be understood by studying the capacity of certain immune cells and their genetic background to respond under the constant exposure to an adjusted diet in omega-6/omega-3 fatty acids in individuals with obesity.

NCT ID: NCT05063162 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-associated Disease (MOG-AD)

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Rozanolixizumab in Adult Participants With Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein (MOG) Antibody-associated Disease (MOG-AD)

cosMOG
Start date: February 2, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evalute the efficacy, safety and tolerability of rozanolixizumab for treatment of adult participants with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOG-AD).

NCT ID: NCT05062278 Recruiting - AML Clinical Trials

Vinblastine for Leukoreduction in Newly Diagnosed AML and Hyperleukocytosis

Start date: July 26, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Vinblastine can leukoreduce patients with newly diagnosed AML and hyperleukocytosis but clinical trials are lacking.

NCT ID: NCT05059847 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Adult B-Cell

Impact of Cross-training on Induction Treatment Response in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Adults

Start date: September 6, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Despite advances in the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the prognosis in adults is still poor, largely due to the resistance of treatment at diagnosis or early relapse. Among the strategies associated with the treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is rehabilitation and physical medicine in order to improve the quality of life, body composition, fitness, strength and improve the attachment and acceptance of their treatment

NCT ID: NCT05053139 Recruiting - Haemophilia A Clinical Trials

A Research Study Investigating Mim8 in Adults and Adolescents With Haemophilia A With or Without Inhibitors

Start date: December 2, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is investigating how Mim8 works compared to other medicines in people with haemophilia A, who either have inhibitors or do not have inhibitors. Mim8 is a new medicine that will be used for prevention of bleeding episodes. Mim8 works by replacing the function of the missing clotting factor VIII (FVIII). When and how often participants will receive Mim8 is dependent on their previous treatment - but is otherwise decided by chance. Mim8 will be injected into a skinfold on the stomach with a thin needle either once a week or once a month. The study will last 54-124 weeks (12-29 months) depending on how long participants will be followed in run-in before they start treatment and if they continue in the follow period or transfer to an open label extension study. Participants will have 12-17 clinic visits.
