There are about 1295 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Lithuania. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of QVA149 (110/50 μg o.d.) vs tiotropium (18 µg o.d.) + salmeterol/fluticasone propionate FDC (50/500 µg b.i.d.) in patients with moderate to severe COPD
The main purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that treatment with mirikizumab is superior to placebo in providing clinical benefit to participants with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC). This study will also investigate how the body processes the drug.
A Phase III, Randomized, Observer-Blind, Controlled, Multicenter Clinical Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety and Immunogenicity of an MF59-Adjuvanted Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine Compared to Non-influenza Vaccine Comparator in Adults ≥ 65 Years of Age.
To evaluate the change in quality of life (NEI VFQ 25) in subjects with DME during the first year of treatment with aflibercept according to the EU Label.
The purpose of the trial is to determine the safety and efficacy of RPC1063 in patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis.
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate superiority with regard to Overall Survival (OS) or Progression Free Survival (PFS) of avelumab versus platinum-based doublet, based on an Independent Review Committee assessment, in Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) participants with Programmed death ligand 1+ (PD-L1+) tumors.
This study evaluates induction therapy with carfilzomib-cyclophosphamide-dexamethasone before salvage high-dose melphalan with autologous stem cell support (HDT) in multiple myeloma patients with relapse after HDT done at diagnosis. In addition, the study evaluates the effect of maintenance therapy after salvage HDT in multiple myeloma. After salvage HDT half of the patients receive maintenance therapy with carfilzomib/dexamethasone while the other half are observed without maintenance therapy.
The purpose of the trial was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two different doses of QVM149 (QVM149 150/50/80 μg and QVM149 150/50/160 μg via Concept1) over two respective QMF149 doses (QMF149 150/160 μg and QMF149 150/320) μg via Concept1 in poorly controlled asthmatics as determined by pulmonary function testing and effects on asthma control.
Trial purpose: For infants born <28 weeks of age, can initial respiratory resuscitation with new system (low imposed work of breathing and prongs) reduce the frequency of delivery room intubations compared to standard treatment with T-piece resuscitator system (high imposed work of breathing and face mask)? Trial summary: This is a randomised controlled trial of delivery room intubation rates comparing a new system and T-piece resuscitation system for initial stabilisation of infants born <28 weeks.
PALO-15-17 is a clinical study assessing efficacy and safety of a single dose of palonosetron 0.25 mg administered as a 30-minute IV infusion compared to palonosetron 0.25 mg administered as a 30-second IV bolus (Aloxi, an antiemetic drug), both given with oral dexamethasone. The objective of the study is to demonstrate that infused IV palonosetron 0.25 mg is as effective as (non-inferior to) injected palonosetron IV 0.25 mg to prevent nausea and vomiting induced by highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in the 0-24 hours after administration of a single cycle of highly emetogenic chemotherapy
