NCT ID: NCT06173570 Recruiting - Dyslipidemia Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of Different Doses of AZD0780 in Patients With Dyslipidemia

PURSUIT
Start date: January 19, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of this study is to measure the effect of different daily doses of AZD0780 on Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) levels compared with placebo in participants with dyslipidemia. The effect of AZD0780 versus placebo on other lipid parameters and inflammatory markers is also investigated. The concentration of AZD0780 in blood at specific timepoints is measured, and the safety and tolerability of AZD0780 will be evaluated. There is a follow-up after end of treatment, but expanded access is not available. The primary hypothesis is that at least one of the investigated doses of AZD0780 is superior to placebo in lowering LDL-C level, in percent change from baseline up to week 12.

NCT ID: NCT06163326 Recruiting - Vitiligo Clinical Trials

A 52-Week Study to Learn About the Safety and Effects of Ritlecitinib in Participants With Nonsegmental Vitiligo

Tranquillo LTE
Start date: January 19, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is to evaluate how safe and effective ritlecitinib is in participants with non-segmental vitiligo (NSV). Ritlecitinib is studied in patients with non-segmental vitiligo. Vitiligo is a chronic acquired depigmentation disorder characterized by well-defined pale white patches of skin. Non-segmental vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder and is the focus of this study. The study will show: - if the repigmentation (the recovery of pigmentation) achieved in study B7981040 (also called the "parent study") will stay the same or will further increase if you keep receiving the same study medicine (ritlecitinib 50 milligrams or placebo) - Or if more repigmentation can be achieved if you start receiving ritlecitinib 100 milligrams in this study - Or how long the repigmentation achieved during the parent study lasts if you start receiving placebo in this study. This study is seeking for participants who: - have non-segmental vitiligo (either active or stable) and - received ritlecitinib or placebo for 52 weeks in the parent study. A placebo looks exactly like the study capsule but does not contain any medicine in it. All participants in this study will receive the study medicine or placebo. The study medicine (ritlecitinib 50 milligrams or 100 milligrams) or placebo are capsules that are taken by mouth at home every day. At week 4 (or if it cannot be done then, at week 8) study visit, you must take the medication at the study site, and not at home. Participants may receive the study medicine or placebo for up to 52 weeks. The study will look at the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help see if ritlecitinib is better for treating vitiligo. Participants will be involved in this study for a maximum of 60 weeks. During this time, they will have 9 study visits during the study. Ritlecitinib 50 mg is an approved drug for the treatment of severe Alopecia Areata (a disease with similar abnormal changes in the body functions like vitiligo) in the US, EU and Japan. China, Great Britain and other market applications are pending.

NCT ID: NCT06158958 Recruiting - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and Efficacy of Intravenous (IV) ABBV-303, as Monotherapy and in Combination With IV Infused Budigalimab (ABBV-181), in Adults With Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: February 6, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. The purpose of this study is to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy of ABBV-303 as a monotherapy and in combination with budigalimab, (ABBV-181). ABBV-303 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of solid tumors. There are multiple treatment arms in this study. Participants will either receive ABBV-303 as a single agent or in combination with budigalimab (another investigational drug) at different doses. Approximately 181 adult participants will be enrolled in the study across sites worldwide. In Part A, ABBV-303 will be intravenously (IV) infused in escalating doses as a monotherapy in participants with relapsed (R)/refractory (R) solid tumors, R/R non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), R/R renal cell carcinoma (RCC), R/R head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), or R/R tissue agnostic participants with mesenchymal epithelial transition. In Part B, ABBV-303 in combination with budigalimab will be IV infused in participants with R/R solid tumors or NSCLC. The estimated duration of the study is up to 3 years. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic and may require frequent medical assessments, blood tests, and scans.

NCT ID: NCT06158854 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Immunoglobulin Light Chain (AL) Amyloidosis

A Study to Assess Change in Disease Activity and Adverse Events (AE)s in Adult Participants With Immunoglobulin Light Chain (AL) Amyloidosis Receiving ABBV-383 as an Intravenous (IV) Infusion

Start date: April 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Immunoglobulin light chain (AL) amyloidosis is the most common form of systemic amyloidosis. AL amyloidosis has many root causes and is characterized by the overproduction of AL that are secreted by clonal bone marrow plasma cells. This is a study to determine adverse events and change in disease activity in adult participants with AL amyloidosis treated with ABBV-383. ABBV-383 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of AL amyloidosis. This study in broken into 2 parts (dose escalation and safety expansion) with 5 arms. During dose escalation (arms 1-3) participants will receive 1 of 3 doses of ABBV-383 to determine the part 2 doses. After completion of the dose escalation portion of the study, the safety expansion (part 2) portion of the study will begin. Two arms (arm 4-5) will begin and participants will receive 1 of 2 doses as determined during the dose escalation portion (part 1). Around 76 adult participants with relapsed/refractory AL amyloidosis will be enrolled at approximately 20 sites across the world. Participants will receive ABBV-383 as an infusion into the vein for up to approximately 2 year study duration. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and questionnaires.

NCT ID: NCT06156982 Completed - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

An Observational Study to Describe EVUSHELD™ (Tixagevimab/Cilgavimab) Pre-exposure Prophylaxis in Real-world Setting in Japan

Evusheld DBR
Start date: December 6, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is an observational, cohort study that will use secondary data to describe the baseline demographics and clinical characteristics in patients who received EVUSHELD as PrEP against SARS-CoV-2 infection/COVID-19 in Japan. All patients who have a record of administration of EVUSHELD in the database will be included in the study. The index date will be defined as the date of first EVUSHELD administration in the database (Day 0) and the patients will be followed up to 6 months after the index date (Day 1 to 180). The look back period is defined as the 12-month period prior to index date (Day -360 to -1). The exposure of interest will be defined as the administration of EVUSHELD for use as PrEP against COVID-19. As the result of feasibility assessment, sample size of the study expected to be approximately 280.
