MIMAS
Start date: January 16, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study employed a prospective, single-arm, global multi-center interventional open-label, non-randomized design to identify and assess safety profile of the crushed deferasirox FCT when administered up to 24 weeks in pediatric patients aged ≥2 to <6 years with transfusional hemosiderosis. The study was designed to enroll a minimum of 40 patients. Forty-four patients were treated and analyzed.

A Study of Duvelisib in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma (PTCL)

PRIMO
Start date: February 22, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-center, parallel cohort, open-label, Phase 2 study of duvelisib, an oral dual inhibitor of PI3K-δ,γ, in patients with relapsed/refractory Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma (PTCL).

High Flow Nasal Therapy Versus Noninvasive Ventilation in COPD Exacerbation

Start date: February 15, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Randomized multicenter non-inferiority trial comparing High flow nasal therapy (HFNT) versus Noninvasive ventilation (NIV) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and acute hypercapnic respiratory failure.

NCT ID: NCT03370133 Completed - Psoriatic Arthritis Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Bimekizumab Compared to Placebo and an Active Comparator in Adult Subjects With Moderate to Severe Chronic Plaque Psoriasis

BE VIVID
Start date: December 6, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a study to compare the efficacy of bimekizumab versus placebo and an active comparator in the treatment of subjects with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis (PSO).

NCT ID: NCT03369665 Completed - Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Quality of Life (QoL) in Subjects With Highly Active Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis (MS) (CLARIFY MS)

Start date: June 20, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of the study was to assess the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) through the Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life-54 Questionnaire (MSQoL-54) scale in highly-active relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) particpants treated with Mavenclad® for 2 years (24 months).

NCT ID: NCT03368378 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Early DVC Ligation and Urinary Continence Recovery After RARP

Start date: November 28, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of early deep venous complex ligation (eDVCL) in patients affected by clinically localized prostate cancer (PCa) undergoing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy with or without pelvic lymph node dissection. Overall, 312 patients will be randomized to the standard technique vs. eDVCL. The primary endpoint is represented by early urinary continence recovery. The secondary endpoints are perioperative outcomes, erectile function recovery and positive surgical margins.

NCT ID: NCT03366181 Completed - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Anti Arrhythmic Therapies and Sudden Cardiac Deaths

Start date: November 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Failing heart negative remodeling alterations might provide electrical heterogeneity and cardiac remodeling, thus potentially contributing to the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia and subsequent sudden cardiac death (SCD). In this study we have prospectively investigated whether serum markers of heart failure (ultra sensitive Troponin , B type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), C reactive protein (CRP), ST protein, and adiponectin could be used as predictors for the occurrence of malignant ventricular arrhythmias in patients who had received an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) for primary prevention and treated by catheter ablation for ventricular arrhythmias.

NCT ID: NCT03365648 Completed - Clinical trials for Allergic Rhinoconjunctivitis

Efficacy and Safety of Lertal® as an add-on to Standard Therapy for Allergic Rhinoconjunctivitis in Pediatrics

Start date: September 15, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Lertal® as an add-on treatment for children affected by allergic rhinoconjunctivitis.
