This study was to assess the antitumor activity, safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of the Mesenchymal-epithelial Transition Factor (MET) inhibitor tepotinib combined with the 3rd generation EGFR inhibitor osimertinib in participants with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
This is a phase 1b, multi-arm, open-label study of HDM201 in combination with MBG453 or venetoclax in subjects with AML or high-risk MDS. For all subjects, TP53wt status must be characterized by, at a minimum, no mutations noted in exons 5, 6, 7 and 8. Two treatment arms will enroll subjects in parallel to characterize the safety, tolerability, PK, PD and preliminary antitumor activity of HDM201+MBG453 (treatment arm 1) and HDM201+venetoclax (treatment arm 2). - In the treatment arm 1, subjects will receive HDM201 in combination with MBG453. - In the treatment arm 2, subjects will receive HDM201 in combination with venetoclax. Venetoclax dose will be gradually increased (ramp-up) over a period of 4 to 5 days to achieve the daily target dose tested that will be subsequently continued. Upon the completion of the escalation part, MTD(s) and/or RD(s) of HDM201 in combination with MBG453 or venetoclax in AML and high-risk MDS subjects will be determined for each treatment arm.
A Pilot Observational Study to evaluate safety and efficacy of the hybrid approach DES/DCB in treating de-novo diffuse lesions
Preference studies reveal how individuals trade-off the potential benefits, harms and inconveniences of a treatment by determining the minimum benefits they judge sufficient to make the treatment worthwhile. They are especially relevant to adjuvant therapies where individuals must weigh up modest survival benefits only realized in time by no recurrence of their cancer with side effects predominantly experienced whilst on the treatment. Previously it was reported, for example, that over 50% of women who had adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer judged a 1% improvement in 5 year survival rates sufficient to make it worthwhile. Larger survival benefits were required for longer duration adjuvant hormonal therapy where over 50% of women required at least 5% improvement in 5 year survival rates to make it worthwhile.
Treatment with PF-06741086 is anticipated to demonstrate a clinically relevant advantage and/or a major contribution to patient care in comparison to current methods of treatment for hemophilia A or B because it works differently than factor replacement products and will work in the presence of inhibitors. The potential for once weekly (QW) subcutaneous (SC) administration provides for treatment options in the absence of reliable vascular access, increased convenience and may enable better compliance. Combined, these qualities should result in a reduction of bleeding episodes.
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, controlled Phase 3 trial of cabozantinib in combination with nivolumab and ipilimumab versus nivolumab and ipilimumab in combination with matched placebo. Approximately 840 eligible subjects with intermediate- or poor-risk advanced or metastatic RCC by IMDC criteria will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio at approximately 180 sites.

A Real World Evidence Prospective Cohort Study in the Management of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer: A Clinical and Patient Perspective
Purpose: Pelvic floor is a complex anatomical entity and its neuromuscular assessment is evaluated through electromyography, evoked potentials and pudendal nerve terminal motor latency. An innovative approach is the study of pelvic floor through dynamic transperineal ultrasound (DTU). The aim of this study is to evaluate if anterior and posterior displacement of puborectalis muscle, studied by DTU, is a feasible and effective method to diagnose pudendal neuropathy alternatively to conventional St. Marks' glove. Methods:Patients affected by fecal incontinence (FI) addressed to our referral center of coloproctology at University of Campania were prospectively assessed. After a specialized coloproctology evaluation, each patient with pelviperineal dysfunction was addressed to DTU to determine anterior and posterior displacement of puborectalis muscle, and subsequently a blinded neurophysiologist performed pudendal nerve terminal motor latency assessment to identify pudendal neuropathy. In order to compare the data, a cohort of 34 healthy volunteers was enrolled.
