There are about 5618 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in India. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
RECOVERY is a randomised trial of treatments to prevent death in patients hospitalised with pneumonia. The treatments being investigated are: COVID-19: Lopinavir-Ritonavir, Hydroxychloroquine, Corticosteroids, Azithromycin, Colchicine, IV Immunoglobulin (children only), Convalescent plasma, Casirivimab+Imdevimab, Tocilizumab, Aspirin, Baricitinib, Empagliflozin, Sotrovimab, Molnupiravir, Paxlovid or Anakinra (children only) Influenza: Baloxavir marboxil, Oseltamivir, Low-dose corticosteroids - Dexamethasone Community-acquired pneumonia: Low-dose corticosteroids - Dexamethasone
With the increase in the incidence of diabetes and obesity, among other artificial sweeteners the need of natural non-caloric sweetener with acceptable taste and without any adverse effects is demanding. So,the use of stevia presents beneficial effects to general and oral health and its properties could result potentially effective in the treatment of periodontal diseases.
ADO is a bone regeneration technique, introduced by Chin and Toth in 1996 based in a biological process used for regenerate and consolidate bone between two bone segments obtained after osteotomy. These segments have been gradually separated by the process of distraction. ADO can be performed both horizontally (AHDO) and vertically (AVDO).
The primary objective of the present study is to clinically and radiographically evaluate the efficacy of autogenous tooth graft obtained from bone mill and dental grinder to preserve alveolar ridge dimensions in extraction sockets.
The primary objective of the present study is to clinically and radiographically evaluate nonincised papillae surgical approach and entire papilla preservation approach for the treatment of intrabony defects with GTR membrane and hydroxyapatite graft.
The aim of this study is to evaluate clinically and radiographically soft tissue around single-implant crowns and peri-implant bone resorption respectively by using zirconia implants or titanium implants in horizontally deficient partially edentulous ridges.
A sulcular incision will be made through each recession area and the tissues will be gradually undermined including the base of the interdental papilla. At the recession sites rhEGF incorporated absorbable collagen membrane will be gradually manipulated into the pouch through the tunnel till it covers the recession sites and will be stabilized with sutures.
The aim of this clinical study is to compare and evaluate the Success of Selective Caries vs Stepwise Caries Removal Techniques in treatment of dental caries.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the periodontal outcomes after applying antimicrobial photodynamic therapy with a novel photosensitizer as compared to LASER assisted scaling and root planing alone.
At present, there are no specific treatments for COVID-19. WHO recommends four treatments for COVID 19 with drugs i.eRemdesivir, Lopinavir/ ritonavir, Lopinavir/ ritonavir with interferon beta -1a, and chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine. Currently, there are several ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. Recently, LeonCaly reported that Ivermectin, an FDA-approved anti-parasitic previously shown to have broad-spectrum anti-viral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2), with a single addition to Vero-hSLAM cells 2 hours post infection with SARSCoV-2 able to effect about 5000-fold reduction in viral RNA at 48 h. Ivermectin therefore warrant further investigation for possible benefits in humans. The study rationale is to understand the effect of the drug on eradication of virus.
