There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study aims to implement and evaluate an eHeath literacy workshop that trains women to take advantage of the digital media available to them so that they can use it to their advantage- set appointments, search for doctors, critically read and understand health information, search for information about medications, diseases, health habits and more.
A global phase 3, multicenter, randomized, trial, to Determine the Efficacy and Safety of Durvalumab in combination with Tremelimumab and Enfortumab Vedotin or Durvalumab in combination with Enfortumab vedotin for Perioperative Treatment in Patients Ineligible for Cisplatin or who refuse Cisplantin Undergoing Radical Cystectomy for Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer. The goal of the study is to explore the triplet combination of Durvalumab, Tremelimumab and Enfortumab Vedotin in terms of efficacy and safety compared to the current Standard Of Care (SOC). Volga trial consists of two parts: Safety Run-In and Main Study. In total the study aims to enroll approximately 830 patients, who will receive triplet combination, duplet combination of Durvalumab and Enfortumab vedotin or currently approved SOC in the main trial. In the main part of the trial there is two out of three chances of being on a treatment arm and the treatment is assigned at random by a computer system. In this trial patients in the two treatment arms will receive either 3 cycles of neoadjuvant Durvalumab + Tremelimumab + Enfortumab Vedotin or Durvalumab + Enfortumab vedotin and after surgery both treatment arms will continue with adjuvant Durvalumab.
One of the AUB symptoms, heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB), can lead to iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia and in acute and severe cases, can necessitate emergency medical care. This study's focus is on the symptom of HMB which has a number of benign causes. The investigative device, the IUB SEADâ„¢, is a novel spherical endometrial ablation device developed to allow for simple, office-based chemical EA to treat benign causes of the symptom of HMB. The suggested procedure is expected to be simpler than the currently available EA methods and yet should still reduce the need for hysterectomy.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of crovalimab in pediatric participants with aHUS.
The aim of the present trial is to evaluate the effect of lifestyle changes on the natural history of indolent lymphomas, during the period of watchful waiting. The intervention program is comprised of specifically designed vegan nutrition, physical activity, mostly aerobic, and stress reduction by relaxation and meditation. Outcome results will be followed and analyzed for 3 years, taking into consideration the following parameters - disease burden, specific disease-related symptoms, relevant blood tests, body weight, indicators of well-being. Changes in these parameters will be correlated with the level of compliance and adherence to the intervention program. The results of the trial group of patients will be further compared to the natural history of the disease in a comparable group of patients during their waiting period who were not subject to the above intervention.
The treatment system consists of two light-weight MyMove bands and virtual-reality gear. Built-in software allows tracking of performance in real-time, with feedback to both the patient and treating personnel. MyMove is a wearable device that allows patients with loss of upper-limb function to operate computers, cellular phones, and similar devices. The technology is non-invasive and does not involve risk to the patient. MyMove+ is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation software intended for use in upper extremity and full-body conventional rehabilitation by: 1. Tracking motion and movement kinematics. 2. Guiding patients in the performance of physical exercises according to the treating practitioner's guidelines. MyMove+ software is not intended for use in diagnosis, treatment or decision-making, or as a stand-alone device.
This study is exploratory and examines whether the refraction results obtained from a novel optical device yields results similar to the ophthalmic refraction measurements obtained from an autorefractor in children.
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common, recurrent, and frequent chronic disorder. Treatment is often challenging; up to 40% of patients do not benefit sufficiently from existing antidepressant interventions including trials of medication and psychotherapy. Up to 25% of patients manifest a chronic course of illness, resulting in a need for additional treatment options. The DiSCoVeR trial is a multi-site, double-blind, sham-controlled, proof-of concept randomized controlled trial (RCT). The study aims to investigate the feasibility and efficacy of an innovative, combined treatment approach, incorporating transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) along with a custom-made video game designed to enhance cognitive control in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). Patients diagnosis of MDD receive a 6-weeks treatment with prefrontal tDCS along with an active videogame or sham tDCS + sham game for 6 weeks. Follow-up per patient is 6 weeks following treatment. Before, during and after the treatment period different assessment scales will be conducted to record neuropsychological features and the course of symptom changes.
This is a Phase 2, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sotatercept versus placebo in adults with Cpc-PH due to HFpEF. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of sotatercept versus placebo in adults with Cpc-PH due to HFpEF. Efficacy is measured by change from baseline in pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR, primary endpoint) and 6-minute walk distance (6MWD, key secondary endpoint).
A single blinded randomized controlled trial to compare outcomes of patients with chronic knee pain receiving radiofrequency with or without corticosteroids.
