There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The Lightfective ReBorn System is intended for non-invasive lipolysis of the flanks in individuals with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or less. The device is intended to affect the appearance of visible fat bulges in the flanks.
The primary objective of this study is to compare the dengue virus-neutralizing antibody geometric mean titers (GMTs) for each of the 4 dengue serotypes (DENV1, DENV2, DENV3, and DENV4) at Day 28 post-vaccination for participants administered the V181 Low-Potency Level vaccine versus the V181 Mid-Potency Level vaccine. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of 3 different V181 potency level vaccines. The primary hypothesis of the study is that the V181 Low-Potency Level vaccine is non-inferior to the V181 Mid-Potency Level vaccine for each of the 4 dengue serotypes based on GMTs at Day 28 post-vaccination.
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ABX464 given at 25 or 50 mg QD in inducing clinical remission in subjects with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis who have inadequate response, no response, a loss of response, or an intolerance to either conventional therapies [corticosteroids, immunosuppressant (i.e. azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, methotrexate)] and/or advanced therapies [biologics (TNF inhibitors, anti-integrins, anti-IL-23), and/or S1P receptor modulators, and/or JAK inhibitors].
This is an open-label, multicenter extension trial to evaluate the long-term safety of KVD900 in patients who are 12 years or older with HAE type I or II.
The investigators will collect the time interval from birth to arrival to WBN or NICU, the time interval from arrival to nurse admission, the first measured temperature, and the week of birth. The investigators will divide the newborn infants to three groups: infants born vaginally, infants born by regular Cesarean section, and infants born by friendly Cesarean section, and compare the groups.
Patients undergoing surgery inside their abdomen, with no serious heart or lung diseases, will have a lung ultrasound exam before and after surgery. The patient respiratory status in the post-operative unit and the surgical ward will be monitored for complications after surgery
Immunotherapy has recently become a main-stream treatment option in cancer care, with improved clinical outcomes in many malignancies, especially that of lung cancer. The long-term benefits of this treatment however are limited. There is therefore a critical need to distinguish predictive biomarkers of response from those of resistance, and to develop synergistic strategies for improved therapeutic response. Strong emerging evidence indicates that the gut microbiome has the ability to influence response to immunotherapy. Unlike tumor genomics, the gut microbiome is modifiable, and thus its modulation to enhance response to immunotherapy is an attractive therapeutic strategy. Working hypothesis: Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) treatment in conjunction with standard (chemo-)immunotherapy as a first-line treatment for metastatic lung cancer enhances disease control rate. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) in altering response to immunotherapy in patients with metastatic lung cancer. The overall goal is to determine microbiome compositional and gene-content changes in patients who respond more efficiently to immunotherapy subsequent to FMT. This understanding may lead to future microbiome-based treatments in combination with immunotherapy to significantly increase lung cancer treatment efficacy. In this prospective clinical and molecular study, we will perform an in-depth analysis of the potential role of FMT in the context of immunotherapy.
The primary objective of this study is to compare the effect of zimberelimab (ZIM) and domvanalimab (DOM) in combination with chemotherapy relative to pembrolizumab (PEMBRO) in combination with chemotherapy on progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with untreated metastatic non-small cell lung cancer with no actionable genomic alteration.
The goal of any novel design or therapeutic strategy to treat atrial fibrillation is to restore normal sinus rhythm and to reduce or eliminate the symptoms due to rapid atrial response. Boston Scientific has developed the FARAPULSE⢠Pulsed Field Ablation therapy that uses irreversible electroporation to induce cell death. This Registry is intended to obtain purely observational and prospective real world data and to provide continued evidence on the safety and effectiveness when the FARAPULSE⢠pulsed field ablation System is used per hospitals' standard of care.
The primary objective is to characterize the efficacy TEV-48574 in adult participants with IBD (moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease (CD)) as assessed by induction of clinical remission (UC) and endoscopic response (CD) at week 14. Secondary objectives: - To evaluate the efficacy and dose response of the 2 different dose regimens as assessed by multiple standard measures - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of the 2 different dose regimens - To evaluate the immunogenicity of the 2 different dose regimens The study will consist of a screening period of up to 6 weeks (42 days), a 14-week treatment period, and a 4-week follow-up period.
