NCT ID: NCT01844505 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Unresectable or Metastatic Melanoma

Phase 3 Study of Nivolumab or Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab Versus Ipilimumab Alone in Previously Untreated Advanced Melanoma (CheckMate 067)

Start date: June 11, 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to show that Nivolumab and/or Nivolumab in combination with Ipilimumab will extend progression free survival and overall survival compared to Ipilimumab alone.

NCT ID: NCT01844128 Recruiting - Weight Loss Clinical Trials

The Effect of Weight Loss on Ovarian Reserve

Start date: May 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Obesity affects on fertility. Obese women have lower pregnancy rate after infertility treatments. They need more doses of hormone during ovarian stimulation, more days for stimulation. During IVF treatment less oocytes are collected and the quality of embryo also harmed. The first line treatment for those women with obesity and infertility is weight loss. The investigators' hypothesis is that weight reduction improves ovarian reserve and fertility treatment outcome.

NCT ID: NCT01843374 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Unresectable Pleural or Peritoneal Malignant Mesothelioma

Randomized, Double-blind Study Comparing Tremelimumab to Placebo in Subjects With Unresectable Malignant Mesothelioma

Tremelimumab
Start date: May 17, 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2b, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group study. Subjects with unresectable pleural or peritoneal malignant mesothelioma will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to receive either tremelimumab or placebo. Approximately 564 subjects will be enrolled at study centers in multiple countries. The study consists of a screening period, a treatment period, a 90-day follow-up period for safety, and a long-term survival follow-up period.

NCT ID: NCT01842984 Completed - Loneliness Clinical Trials

Decreasing Loneliness in Older Adults

I-SOCIAL
Start date: March 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purposes of this study are: (1) decrease loneliness and social isolation and increase social competence and social integration of older adults experiencing loneliness; (2) examine an intervention process grounded in a theoretical model that was developed in a previous study. The intervention process is tailored to the participants' barriers and abilities, and includes up to 10 personal meetings with an activities counselor and several group meetings.

NCT ID: NCT01842685 Recruiting - Overactive Bladder Clinical Trials

Bladder Thermal Distention for Patients With Refractory Overactive Bladder

OAB
Start date: April 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the investigators will evaluate the efficacy of Bladder Thermal Distention (BTD) in patients with overactive bladder syndrome who failed previous treatment of anticholinergic drugs. The investigators' hypothesis is that it will improve the storage symptoms.

NCT ID: NCT01841554 Completed - Clinical trials for Mitral Regurgitation

Cardioband With Transfemoral Delivery System

Start date: September 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the performance and safety of the Cardioband Adjustable Annuloplasty System for repair of functional mitral regurgitation.

NCT ID: NCT01840644 Completed - Cerebral Palsy Clinical Trials

Validity and Reliability of Perceived Exertion Rating Scale in Children With Brain Damage

Start date: July 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to examine the reliability and validity of the rating of perceived exertion scale in children post severe traumatic brain injury during treadmill exercise.

NCT ID: NCT01839851 Recruiting - ASTHMA Clinical Trials

Hair Cortisol in Asthma or Allergic Rhinitis Treated With Topical Corticosteroids

Start date: May 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to prospectively examine the relation between topical corticosteroid use and hair cortisol concentration, among patients with moderate persistent asthma or allergic rhinitis. The investigators hypothesize that patients with asthma or allergic rhinitis treated with topical corticosteroids (i.e. inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) or intranasal glucocorticoids (INGC)) have higher levels of hair cortisol after 3 months of treatment than during the 3 months prior to initiation of treatment.

NCT ID: NCT01839786 Terminated - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Hypertension

Evaluation of Lung Doppler Signals in Pulmonary Hypertension

Start date: May 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the lung Doppler signals in patients with pulmonary hypertension that undergo (prospective arm) or underwent (retrospective arm) right heart catheterization (RHC) in order to assess whether this non-invasive tool could be used in pulmonary hypertension diagnosis and monitoring.
