NCT ID: NCT03354923 Active, not recruiting - Social Skills Clinical Trials

Parent-Child Reciprocity and the Effectiveness of PEERS

ISR-PEERS
Start date: January 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Early adolescence marks a significant development in teens' social abilities, shifting from play to conversation-based activities, and having stronger and more intimate friendships. Parents contribute to this shift by practicing reciprocal social interaction with their teens. For teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) this shift in their peers' social abilities extends their characteristic social deficits even further. Social skills deficits in individuals with ASD are associated with poor adaptive functioning and increased psychopathology. Parents play a pivotal role in caring for and tutoring their children with ASD into adulthood. However, the effect parent-teen reciprocity has on the social skills of adolescents with ASD has not been tested. Furthermore, whereas parent-child reciprocity predicted intervention outcome in young children with ASD, no study has examined this effect in teens with ASD. The proposed study aims to test these questions using the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS), an evidence-based parent-assisted social skills training program for teens with ASD.

NCT ID: NCT03346096 Active, not recruiting - Malignant Lymphoma Clinical Trials

TEAM (Thiotepa, Etoposide, Cytosar, Melphalan ) for AutoSCT in Lymphoma

TEAM
Start date: October 9, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Study is designed to explore whether the introduction of Thiotepa, to the pre autologous stem-cell transplantation (ASCT) conditioning will reduce toxicity and thus improve outcome following transplantation in up to 24 patients with malignant lymphoma including both non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and Hodgkin's lymphoma ( HL) improving toxicity profile , reducing side effects while potentially improving the antitumor response. Specifically,we speculate that using the novel Thiotepa based TEAM consisted of THIOTEPA 5mg/kg on days -7-6, etoposide 200 mg/m2 , Cytosar (ARA-C) 200 mg/m2 on days -5,-4, -3, -2 and melphalan 140 mg/m2 on day -1, pre transplantation conditioning regimen may allow transplantation with lower transplant related toxicity and thus improve outcome in this setting. Toward this aim the impact on toxicity profile ,engraftment and disease control will be assessed.

NCT ID: NCT03345823 Active, not recruiting - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

A Maintenance and Long-Term Extension Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Upadacitinib (ABT-494) in Participants With Crohn's Disease Who Completed the Studies M14-431 or M14-433

U-ENDURE
Start date: March 21, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of maintenance and long-term treatment administration of upadacitinib, an orally administered Janus kinase 1 inhibitor, in adult participants with Crohn's Disease.

NCT ID: NCT03337698 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

A Study Of Multiple Immunotherapy-Based Treatment Combinations In Participants With Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (Morpheus- Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer)

Morpheus Lung
Start date: January 2, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of immunotherapy-based treatment combinations in participants with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Two cohorts will be enrolled in parallel in this study: Cohort 1 will consist of participants with tumor PD-L1 expression who have received no prior systemic therapy for metastatic NSCLC, and Cohort 2 will consist of participants who experienced disease progression during or following treatment with a platinum-containing regimen and a PD-L1/PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor, given in combination as one line of therapy or as two separate lines of therapy, regardless of PD-L1 expression. In each cohort, eligible participants will initially be assigned to one of several treatment arms (Stage 1). Participants who experience disease progression, loss of clinical benefit, or unacceptable toxicity during Stage 1 may be eligible to continue treatment with a different treatment regimen (Stage 2).

NCT ID: NCT03334617 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Phase II Umbrella Study of Novel Anti-cancer Agents in Patients With NSCLC Who Progressed on an Anti-PD-1/PD-L1 Containing Therapy
