There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Fycompa (Perampanel) as an add-on therapy in epilepsy patients aged greater than or equal to 12 years.
the etiology of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) is closely associated with the gut microbiome. The results of previous studies on the effectiveness of antibiotics and fecal macrobiota transplantation (FMT) are contradicting. Aims: to evaluate the effectiveness of wide-spectrum antibiotic regimens in acute severe colitis in an addition to standard corticosteroid therapy (UC and isolated "UC-like" Crohn's colitis). The secondary aim is to assess the outcome of FMT in those not responding to five days of therapy (in either arm). As an exploratory aim, any IBD patient with a resistant disease to at least two immunosuppressive medications, may be treated with either interventions.
This observational study follows subjects who have been exposed to a traumatic event and are at risk of developing PTSD symptoms. Participants are recruited within six hours of a traumatic event, and, starting from the recruitment session, are then examined on six set points of time within a period of thirteen months. The examinations include both biological studies of cortisol in hair, blood and saliva, and psychological examinations and questionaires that assess the development and severity of PTSD symptoms. The novel method of sampling hair cortisol allows investigators to retroactively estimate the mean levels of blood cortisol during the tree months prior to the sampling. The study aims at further illuminating the correlation between cortisol levels both prior and following a traumatic event, and the development and severity of PTSD symptoms
In spite of identical analgesic protocols, parturients suffer different levels of pain postoperative lay. In this study we hope to identify factors which influence the perception of pain including preoperative anxiety, sleep quality and local anesthesia injection pain.
Olaparib treatment in patients with germline BRCA1/2 mutations and high risk HER2 negative primary breast cancer who have completed definitive local treatment and neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy
Uraemic pruritus (UP) remains a frequent and distressing problem in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Calmmax is a new topical cream that was introduced recently by Calmmax Pharma, an Israeli pharmaceutical company developed a topical cream based on active plant extracts for treatment of skin inflammation. We intend to conduct a prospective, double blind, placebo controlled, randomized trial that will assess the therapeutic effect of Calmmax cream on UP in a cohort of CKD and ESRD patients.
Gait dysfunction often occurs following stroke, neurological or musculoskeletal disease, injury and surgery. One of the consequences of such deficit is an increased risk of fall and injury. A gait training regime that incorporates controlled perturbation has been found to reduce falls in elderly population but the effectiveness of such training has yet to be studied. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of specific controlled dynamic perturbation training, during gait, on gait rehabilitation, fear of falling and falling with gait impaired individuals. Perturbation will be performed using a specifically designed system that provides small, controlled and unpredictable perturbations during treadmill walking.
Randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled, multicenter, efficacy and safety study in subjects with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. Following the double blind period, subjects will be allowed to continue treatment with topical MRX-6 Cream 2% in an open-label extension. Demonstrate the efficacy of MRX-6 Cream 2% compared to Vehicle for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis and demonstrate the safety of MRX-6 Cream 2% for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether we can establish different markers suc as mean arterial pressure , flow in the uterine arteries, biochemical markers in maternal blood and more un the first trimester, in order to screen for twin pregnancies that are more likely to develop adverse pregnancy outcome: early delivery, pre eclampsia or small fetuses.
The purpose of the RESPOND post market study is to collect real world clinical and device performance outcomes data with the Lotus Valve System used in routine clinical practice to demonstrate that the commercially available Lotus Valve System is a safe and effective treatment for patients with severe calcific aortic stenosis.
