There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Treatment will start with dose escalation in addition to Standard of Care (steroid therapy with or without additional therapies) . At the conclusion of the dose escalation segment of the study, if the 300 mg Cannabidiol dose level/placebo is deemed safe for two weeks with Standard of care dose of steroids, patients will continue receiving this 300 mg dose/placebo for an additional period of 3 months. Weekly tapering off of steroids will then commence and will be carried out . Three months after starting treatment with Cannabidiol an interim analysis to evaluate Cannabidiol's safety and efficacy will be carried out and treatment assignment group may be changed (according to response confirmation)
A prospective, Open Label, Single arm, Multicenter study Evaluating the FixNip™ NRI Safety and Performance in Female Patients Seeking Reconstructive Surgery of the Nipple.
Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP's) in connective tissue components are associated with increased risk of pelvic organ prolapse (POP). The investigators expect to find a difference in SNP's frequency between women who had Obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) and in the healthy population. The fact that pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and OASIS occurs in the same anatomic region and the well-known association between few SNP's and the risk for POP, suggests for a common pathophysiology.
This study evaluated the long-term safety and tolerability of elexacaftor (ELX), tezacaftor (TEZ), and ivacaftor (IVA) triple combination (TC) treatment in participants with cystic fibrosis (CF).
A multi center, open label, prospective study that will include up to 100 subjects with Type 1 Diabetes treated with Multiple Daily Injections (MDI) of insulin according to a predefined sliding scale plan or carbohydrate ratio (CR) and correction factor (CF) plan, and Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose (SMBG) or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). The study will include screening, a 3-4 weeks run-in period and a 6 weeks intervention period. Subjects will be asked to record their insulin delivery during basal/bolus insulin treatment (using dedicated apps and/or connected pens) and their daily activities (meals, physical activity etc.) using electronic log (implemented on Dedicated Apps), for a total period of 9-10 weeks.
The primary objective is to evaluate the efficacy of monthly 225 mg sc fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and major depressive disorder (MDD) The secondary objectives are to evaluate the efficacy of monthly 225 mg sc of fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and MDD on the reduction of MDD symptoms, responder rates in monthly migraine days, improving quality of life, improving disability, and the safety and tolerability of monthly 225 mg sc and quarterly 675 mg sc fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and MDD. The total duration of participant participation in the study is planned to be approximately 28 weeks.
This study will evaluate crisaborole therapy once daily (QD) as a long-term topical maintenance therapy for the reduction of flare in responders to crisaborole twice daily (BID) treatment.
A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Parallel Group, Phase 2a Study to Explore the Efficacy and Safety of Tezepelumab in Adults with Moderate to Very Severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Up to 300 subjects will participate in this study. Subjects to be enrolled in this study are typically healthy and at average or high risk for CRC. Each subject will undergo study assessments including a pre-screening telephone call, Procedure Visit, follow up post-ingestion via telephone calls. On the day of the procedure, before administering the C-Scan. Once informed consent is obtained, a thorough evaluation of subject's eligibility will be performed based on inclusion / exclusion criteria. Medical history and concomitant medications information will be collected for all subjects. Also prior surgeries or endoscopic examinations showing pathology and current or previous GI problems or symptoms will be evaluated. Some subjects will be asked to participate in additional ingestions (up to three, one at a time, at least one week intermission between the ingestions), to compare the performance of the system in different configuration on the same subject. Each subject's participation in the study will take up to 3 weeks (per one ingestion). Some subjects will be asked to participate in addition ingestions (up to three, one at a time, at least one week intermission between the ingestions), to compare the performance of the system in different configuration on the same subject. Overall study duration will be one year.
