There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Two arms of women who suffer from clinical stress urinary incontinence. Women will be divided randomly into two arms. One arm will be treated with vaginal Erbium laser and the second with Sham laser, three treatments each. Follow up will be done 6 and 12 months after the last treatment.
This study will recruit 100 participants who self-report high symptoms of social anxiety (Social phobia inventory >30). Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either one analog intervention of Imagery Rescripting (IR) or Imaginal Exposure. We will test the efficacy and mechanisms behind each interventions.
A prospective observational study in patients admitted with an acute cardiac disease, in which the PPG-based device will be attached to them on admission, for frequent monitoring of their vitals during hospitalization and interventional procedures. in parallel to currently-used and approved devices. Data will be crossed with gathered clinical and laboratory data, to study the device's ability to detect acute hemodynamic and respiratory changes during hospitalization, and gathering workflow information from the nursing staff.
The purpose of this study is to compare pembrolizumab + adjuvant chemotherapy with placebo + adjuvant chemotherapy, with or without radiotherapy, with respect to disease-free survival (DFS) as assessed radiographically by the investigator or by histopathologic confirmation of suspected disease recurrence, and with respect to overall survival (OS). The primary hypotheses are that pembrolizumab + adjuvant chemotherapy is superior to placebo + adjuvant chemotherapy, with or without radiotherapy, with respect to DFS as assessed radiographically by the investigator or by histopathologic confirmation of suspected disease recurrence, and with respect to OS.
Thirty patients of 18-85 years of age, with 2-30 cm2 pressure ulcers or post-op wounds, will be recruited and treated with either wound dressing containing silver or wound dressings containing copper oxide microparticles. The efficacy of the two types of dressings in reducing the size and improving the condition of the wounds will be compared.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of talquetamab in participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma at the recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2Ds) (Part 3).
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of guselkumab compared to placebo, in combination with a 26-week glucocorticoid (GC) taper regimen, in adult participants with new-onset or relapsing giant cell arteritis (GCA).
Dietary fibers are generally not degraded by the endogenous digestive enzymes, but rather by the complex ensemble of microorganisms that reside in the human gut [1]. This ensemble, collectively known as the human gut microbiome, plays a key role in breaking down, fermenting, and ultimately converting such dietary fibers into a variety of beneficial metabolites, including most notably, short chain fatty acids (SCFA). These end products of fibers' fermentation affect host metabolism, immunity, and physiology, and have been implicated in multiple diseases including obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Intermediate fasting, and in particular circadian intermediate fasting (i.e. 16 hours of fasting followed by 8 hours of allowed eating), has been shown to have positive associations with multiple health conditions as obesity, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, cancers, and neurologic disorders In this study, we will try to answer open questions utilizing the long fasting period during the day to investigate the isolated effect of dietary fiber consumption, uncovering the degradation effect, but not the bulking effect, on the microbiome and the host physiology, and in particular its glucose response.
This is a Phase 2b, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study evaluating the efficacy and safety of EDP-938 in HCT recipients with acute RSV infection and symptoms of URTI.
This study will look to evaluate the feasibility of a backwards downhill running program as an option for the treatment of Achilles tendinopathy in runners. It is known that exercise on the Achilles tendon during elongation (eccentric exercise) improves tendon function after injury. However, during recovery, the patient is required to stop tendon-loading activities such as jumps and sprints. Therefore, during recovery, athletes decline in physical fitness. Backward running on a negative slope can achieve a biomechanical load similar to eccentric exercise without decreasing physical fitness.
