The purpose of the study is to identify doses and schedules of VOB560 and MIK665 that can be safely given and to learn if the combination can have possible benefits for patients with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), Multiple Myeloma (MM) or Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). VOB560 and MIK665 are selective and potent blockers respectively of the B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) protein and of the myeloid cell leukaemia 1 (MCL1) protein, proteins that may protect tumor cells from undergoing cell death. VOB560 and MIK665 are designed to block the functions of the BCL2 and MCL1 proteins, so that the tumor cells that rely on these proteins undergo cell death. Preclinical data suggest that concomitant treatment with VOB560 in combination with MIK665 induces robust anti-tumor activity.

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) plus pembrolizumab (MK-3475) plus chemotherapy compared with chemotherapy alone in participants with advanced/metastatic gastroesophageal cancer. The primary study hypotheses are that lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy is superior to chemotherapy alone for both overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR), in participants with programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) Combined Positive Score (CPS) ≥1 and in all participants.

CPSP is common after cardiac surgery. The reported incidence was 28% to 56% up to 2 years postoperatively. Despite a large number of cross-sectional and retrospective studies, prospective cohort studies examining the incidence of chronic post-sternotomy pain following cardiac surgery have been scarce, and none on our local Chinese population. Several mechanisms have been involved in the development of chronic pain after sternotomy. Ongoing pain after surgery can continue to sensitize the nociceptive fibres which may subsequently lead to hyperalgesia, hyperpathia, allodynia and dysesthesia. In addition, like any form of chronic pain, it is a multidimensional process involving social, cognitive and psychological factors. CPSP has the potential to impact daily functioning and quality of life of patients, as well as increasing the healthcare costs. To date, only the CARDpain study examined the role of social and psychological risk factors in development of CPSP after cardiac surgery. They found pre-surgical anxiety, measured by the Hospital and Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS), was a significant risk factor. The primary aim of the study is to examine the incidence of chronic post-sternotomy pain at 3 months and 6 months following cardiac surgery in local Chinese population, and identify the clinical and psychological risk factors associated with its development. The secondary aim is to determine the impact of CPSP on the quality of life following cardiac surgery.
The Orbis Paxman Hair Loss Prevention System is a new equipment introduced to Hong Kong in 2017. Although this device has been widely used in the United States, Europe and Australia, acceptability, efficacy and safety data in Chinese have not yet been available. The objective of this prospective study is to collect clinical data in Chinese patients using the Orbis Paxman Hair Loss Prevention System to prevent chemotherapy-induced alopecia. This project seeks to demonstrate that the Orbis Paxman Hair Loss Prevention System is safe and effective in reducing chemotherapy-induced alopecia in woman with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy.
Patients with HER2-positive primary breast cancer (BC) who do not achieve complete response after appropriate neoadjuvant therapy are at higher risk of disease recurrence. More effective treatment options are needed for this patient population. This study will examine the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) compared with trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) in high-risk patients with residual invasive breast cancer following neoadjuvant therapy.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of tiragolumab in combination with atezolizumab plus pemetrexed and carboplatin/cisplatin (Arm A) compared with placebo in combination with pembrolizumab plus pemetrexed and carboplatin/cisplatin (Arm B) in participants with previously untreated, locally advanced unresectable or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Eligible participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive one of the following treatment regimens during the induction phase: - Arm A: Tiragolumab plus atezolizumab plus pemetrexed and carboplatin or cisplatin - Arm B: Placebo plus pembrolizumab plus pemetrexed and carboplatin or cisplatin Following the induction phase, participants will continue maintenance therapy with either tiragolumab in combination with atezolizumab and pemetrexed (Arm A) or placebo in combination with pembrolizumab and pemetrexed (Arm B).
A Phase 3, randomized, blinded study comparing pelabresib (CPI-0610) and ruxolitinib with placebo and ruxolitinib in myelofibrosis (MF) patients that have not been previously treated with Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi). Pelabresib is a small molecule inhibitor of bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) proteins.
