Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a long-term open-label safety extension to the Phase 2a study of inhaled QCC374 in adult patients with PAH. This study provides the patients who completed the QCC374X2201 study with the option to continue receiving QCC374. The study will monitor the long-term safety, tolerability and efficacy of QCC374 in patients with PAH.

NCT ID: NCT02937909 Terminated - Clinical trials for Wound - in Medical Care

A Study to Evaluate the Benefits of Using a Range of Wound Care Products From a Single Manufacturer

Start date: February 15, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to investigate whether the adoption of the use of a range of wound care products from a single manufacturer makes training in appropriate product selection more effective and results in more accurate selection of the appropriate product for the wound and for the patient's lifestyle, thereby incurring less waste and reducing the number of referrals by the community nursing team to the Tissue Viability Team. One community nursing team will switch to using a full range of dressings and compression products from BSN medical UK for three months. Nurse training on the products will be given and nurse competencies and confidence in woundcare and appropriate product selection will be tested at the start and end of the study. The number and type of referrals to the Tissue Viability Team will be measured. Total anonymised data on numbers of referrals, wound closure, numbers of wounds and quantity and cost of products used will be collected and compared with the historical record for three months prior to the study. Patients will complete a Quality of Life questionnaire at enrolment and exit from the study. Patients for whom BSN medical UK products are not appropriate or not desired by the patient will not be enrolled and will receive the usual range of products available to the community nursing team.

NCT ID: NCT02936037 Terminated - Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Effect of MD1003 in Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPI2)

SPI2
Start date: December 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the superiority of MD1003 over placebo in the disability of patients suffering from progressive multiple sclerosis and especially those with gait impairment.

NCT ID: NCT02935673 Terminated - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Viruses

Study to Evaluate the Antiviral Activity, Clinical Outcomes, Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of Orally Administered Lumicitabine Regimens in Adult Participants Hospitalized With Respiratory Syncytial Virus

Start date: October 25, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to characterize the Pharmacokinetic and to confirm the popPK model derived from healthy volunteers in hospitalized adults who are infected with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and to determine in adults who are hospitalized with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection the dose response relationship of multiple regimens of lumicitabine on antiviral activity based on nasal RSV shedding using quantitative real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assay.

NCT ID: NCT02929394 Terminated - Clinical trials for Sarcoma, Soft Tissue

Trabectedin Maintenance Post 1st-line in STS

Start date: November 7, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Maintenance therapy with trabectedin versus observation after first line treatment with doxorubicin of patients with advanced or metastatic soft tissue sarcoma. This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized, open label Phase III trial investigating whether a maintenance treatment with trabectedin, as compared to the observational approach, can prolong progression-free survival in patients with advanced, inoperable and/or metastatic STS after response or stabilisation during first line treatment with doxorubicin.

NCT ID: NCT02928445 Terminated - Clinical trials for Dementia With Lewy Bodies

Long-Term Extension Study of Intepirdine (RVT-101) in Subjects With Dementia With Lewy Bodies: HEADWAY-DLB Extension

Start date: October 2016
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This 6-month extension study will provide further information regarding the long-term safety and tolerability of intepirdine (RVT-101) in subjects with Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) who have participated in the double-blind, placebo-controlled, lead-in study RVT-101-2001.

NCT ID: NCT02927366 Terminated - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Efficacy Study of QCC374 in PAH Patients

Start date: September 19, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This was a non-confirmatory, randomized, placebo controlled, subject and investigator blinded study of QCC374 in PAH subjects. The study was planned to have 2 Parts: Part 1, an initial safety cohort with a 0.03 mg bid starting dose, and Part 2, a larger cohort with a 0.06 mg bid starting dose. However, due to early study termination following Part 1, Part 2 was not completed. Both study parts were comprised of four phases: a screening period for up to 28 days, a titration period of 2 weeks, a stable dose period of 14 weeks and safety follow-up period for 28 days. At the end of the treatment period of 16 weeks, eligible patients were given the option to participate in a separate long-term extension study (CQCC374X2201E1 (NCT02939599)), where all patients were treated with an individual optimal dose of QCC374.
