There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, FIH study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PDy), and antineoplastic activity of RLY-4008, a potent and highly selective FGFR2 inhibitor, in patients with unresectable or metastatic cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) and other solid tumors. The study consists of 3 parts: a dose escalation (Part 1), a dose expansion (Part 2), and an extension (Part 3).
Olfactory and gustatory disorders are prevalent symptoms in European COVID-19 patients. This study aimed to detect these disturbances among positive COVID-19 patients (symptom not initially highlighted by the patient and not sought by caregivers) in order to allow early management of olfactory and gustatory dysfunction.
Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of mimicking drum machines, using one's mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. It may also involve vocal imitation of turntablism, and other musical instruments. To produces the different sounds, the Beatboxers use their vocal apparatus in a much wider and more complex way than its use in speech. This allows them to acquire a panel of rich and varied sounds. The Human Beatbox (HBB) is a very recent subject of study in phonetics. This study offers an exploratory study of pharyngolaryngeal articulatory behaviors using nasofibroscopy and electroglottography and an aerodynamic study in order to better understand the articulatory capacities and limits of the vocal tract.
The purpose of the study is to Assess of Long-term impact post COVID for patients and health care professionals. The patients and medical staff will be followed for 2 years in order to provide clinical and paraclinical data not yet published in the literature.
The study objectives were to assess 1/the immune status of healthcare professionals with suggestive symptomatology of Covid-19 infection and 2/the sensitivity and specificity of AAZ rapid test by comparing it with a serological ELISA test. An open-label, monocentric, prospective, non-randomized study, is conducted, including 50 hospital healthcare professionals and 50 private health professionals. Knowledge of serostatus will achieve the implementation of a strategy of management of patients according to specific immunity of health professionals
Physical inactivity is known to increase the risk of developing many diseases as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, some cancers, and other chronic diseases. The impact of the inactivity is even higher in a fragile population as patients with Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) who need dialysis. This can lead to serious adverse events during the lifetime of these patients, such as arteriopathy which can result in amputation, deterioration of general condition, loss of independence and depression of wasting away. Despite the need to promote physical activity in this population of hemodialysis patients with CRF, little is known about the effects of a supervised physical activity conducted in these patients. With this study, the investigators propose to assess the effects of a physical activity program on several parameters, in hemodialysis subjects.
Stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) is being widely accepted as a treatment of choice for patients with a small number of brain metastases and an acceptable size, allowing a better target dose conformity resulting in high local control rates and better sparing of organs at risk. Currently, imaging for such a delivery technique requires both a recent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain study for volume definition and a computed tomography (CT) scan for SRT planning. An MRI-only workflow could reduce the risk of misalignment between the two imaging modalities and shorten the delay of planning. Given the absence of a calibrated electronic density on MRI, the investigators aim to assess the equivalence of synthetic CTs generated by a generative adversarial network (GAN) for planning in the brain SRT setting.
This is a Phase Ib/II, open-label, multicenter, randomized umbrella study in participants with advanced liver cancers. The study is designed with the flexibility to open new treatment arms as new treatments become available, close existing treatment arms that demonstrate minimal clinical activity or unacceptable toxicity, modify the participant population, or introduce additional cohorts of participants with other types of advanced primary liver cancer. Cohort 1 will enroll participants with locally advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who have not received prior systemic therapy for their disease. Eligible participants will initially be randomly assigned to one of several treatment arms (Stage 1). Participants who experience loss of clinical benefit or unacceptable toxicity during Stage 1 may be eligible to receive treatment with a different treatment combination (Stage 2). When a Stage 2 treatment combination is available, this will be introduced by amending the protocol.
Osteoarthritis is a chronic disease affecting millions of people worldwide, and knee is the second most affected site. Knee osteoarthritis is characterized by knee pain, loss of motion, disability, and muscle weakness, all factors contributing to gait alterations, and impacting greatly the patients quality of life. In the absence of curative treatment, pharmacological and non-pharmacological symptomatic treatments are prescribed to maintain this QoL, and therefore delay surgery to more appropriate window of opportunity later in life. The aim of the study was to investigate the acute effects of three braces, using different unloading strategies, on gait kinematic and kinetic parameters, as well as pain in patients with medial knee ostoeoarthritis.
