There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Calcaneonavicular coalition represents approximately 1% of the population between 8 and 12 years. They are manifested by repeated ankle sprains or by pain. - The diagnosis is radiological on an X-ray of the foot in oblique-3/4 incidence as well as magnetic resonance imaging. Treatment is second-line surgery after failure of orthopedic treatment. This surgery is either by direct approach or by arthroscopy, by performing a bone resection to recreate sufficient space in the joint in question. The patients in this study will only be operated on openly.
This study evaluates the feasibility of the combination of radiotherapy, chemotherapies (docetaxel, cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil) and spartalizumab (anti-PD-1 therapy) in patients with metastatic squamous cell anal carcinoma
The main objective is to study the impact of vaccination against Covid-19 on the specific humoral and cellular immune response (against SARS-CoV-2) and non-specific (evolution of the pathological immune system of the disease), in a lupus population. The secondary objective is to study the impact of lupus disease activity on the humoral and cellular response of patients following vaccination against SARS-CoV-2. The hypothesis is that disease activity and / or certain treatments used in lupus may interfere with the humoral and cellular immune response induced by vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.
The objective of the study is to define an optimal threshold of the SEMSA-15 scale for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) perception in patients with OSA to predict 3-month and 1-year continuous positive airway pressure adherence.
The purpose of this study is to assess the incidence of cardiovascular events in patients with esophageal/stomach or colorectal cancer treated by trifluridine/tipiracil +/- oxaliplatin after an episode of cardiac angina-related thoracic pain due to fluoropyrimidines in the adjuvant or metastatic setting .
The purpose of this study is to determine how an important weight loss after bariatric surgery affects obese patients ' spine, and the effects it has on low back pain, sagittal alignment and lipomatosis .
Waldenström Macroglobulinemia (WM) is defined by a bone marrow lymphoplasmacytic infiltration and the presence of a monoclonal immunoglobulin M (IgM) in blood. This chronic lymphoproliferative disorder requires treatment only in case of symptoms, according to accurate criteria described during the second Workshop on WM i.e. in case of cytopenia, bulky organomegaly, immunological or physicochemical consequences of the presence of IgM in circulating blood. A MYD88 mutation, typically a MYD88(L265P), is found in 90% of WM patients. Other gene abnormalities have been observed, the most frequent is a mutation in the CXCR4 gene. Overall, gene mutations in WM involve only a limited number of signalling pathways, yielding the activation of NFkB, namely : the TLR and MYD88 pathway (with an activation of NFkB and BTK in case of MYD88(L265P) mutation), the BCR pathway (involving btk and associated with activations of both NFkB, and erk akt pathway) and the CXCR4 pathway (CXCR4 is a receptor of CXCL12, it is also associated with activations of ERK/MAPK and PI3K). Abnormalities of some of genes, such as TP53, of the expression of the protein CXCL13 and genes involved in the interleukin 6 secretion have been associated with some clinical characteristics. The purpose of this project is to define the prognostic role of the detection of circulating tumoral DNA (ctDNA) at the end of treatment for the progression/relapse risk within the first 3 years after the first 6 months of treatment.
Nutricia wants to launch a real-life study, to see how the presence of prebiotics and probiotics in the boosted protein hydrolyzate can improve symptoms in the first weeks of use, and supplement the efficacy and safety data of the drug. formula, collected during clinical trials, with real life use. The target population will be children with a definite or suspected diagnosis of APLV, who have never taken a hypoallergenic formula, for whom the doctor decides to prescribe the Pepsicate Syneo formula, regardless of the clinical manifestation of the allergy. These children will be included before the age of 8 months and will be seen again 4 weeks after the prescription. The data from this real-life study will also better characterize the profile of infants taking Pepsicate Syneo. Finally, the perception of the formula by the parents will be collected.
A prospective, single-arm, multi-center, pre-market, clinical study designed to provide safety and performance data regarding the use of the Adagio Medical VT Cryoablation System in the treatment of ventricular tachycardia.
International, multicentric, prospective, investigator-driven, open-label, randomized (1:1) clinical trial to observe and evaluate the efficacy, of Magic Touch Sirolimus Coated Balloon (SCB) compared to one of the gold standard treatment for native vessel disease (everolimus-eluting stent, EES).
