There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Primary Objectives: - Cohort A: To evaluate the efficacy of BIVV020 in prevention of AMR - Cohort B: To evaluate the efficacy of BIVV020 in treatment of active AMR Secondary Objectives: - To assess the overall efficacy of BIVV020 in prevention or treatment of AMR - To characterize the safety and tolerability of BIVV020 in kidney transplant participants - To characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of BIVV020 in kidney transplant participants - To evaluate the immunogenicity of BIVV020
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of rimegepant to placebo as a preventative treatment for migraine in children and adolescents ≥ 6 to <18 years with episodic migraine.
Several studies describe the existence of an association between sexual dysfunction and high blood pressure (hypertension), most often characterized by a decrease in the number of orgasms and the existence of dyspareunia. Hypertension is a contributing factor, and nonadherence to medication could amplify it. There are several ways to assess adherence to treatment: the use of declarative questionnaires, a method not without criticism because it is subject to the subjectivity of the declaration by the patient; and drug dosages, a standard technique, although insufficiently disseminated due to the high cost and greater weight of the survey protocols. Drug non-compliance is multifactorial. In addition, it has been shown that having undesirable drug effects and / or being afraid of developing them is one of the major causes of non-compliance with antihypertensive treatments. The investigators hypothesize that DS is significantly more common among hypertensive women treated with non-observers compared to hypertensive women treated with observers. The main objective is to compare the prevalence of sexual dysfunction between a group of hypertensive women treated as observers and a group of hypertensive women treated as non-observers.
Scoliotic pathology remains to this day little known, on the one hand in its etiologies but also in its various implications and possible associations. One of the notable questions found in the literature is concerned with the link between idiopathic scoliosis and the stomatognathic system. This question arises from the study of the anatomy and function of its two entities. The aim of the study is to determine the frequency of orthodontic treatment in adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis, and to compare it with that of adolescents without spinal dysmorphism.
This Phase 3 trial (Study SRK-015-003) is being conducted in patients ≥2 years old at Screening, who were previously diagnosed with later-onset spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) (i.e., Type 2 and Type 3 SMA) and are receiving an approved survival motor neuron (SMN) upregulator therapy (i.e., either nusinersen or risdiplam), to confirm the efficacy and safety of apitegromab as an adjunctive therapy to nusinersen and evaluate the efficacy and safety of apitegromab as an adjunctive therapy to risdiplam.
To compare the efficacy and safety of remibrutinib versus teriflunomide in patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS)
This is a study to understand if taking VTX002 daily as a tablet orally is safe and effective in participants diagnosed with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC). Approximately 189 participants will take VTX002 Dose A, VTX002 Dose B, or matching placebo, once daily. The study consists of a 28-day Screening Period (to see if a participant qualifies for the study), a 13-week double-blind period (a participant receives either active Dose A, Dose B or Placebo), a Long-Term Extension (LTE) Treatment Period of up to 39 weeks, an Open-Label Extension (OLE) Treatment Period of up to 143 weeks, and a 2-week Follow-Up Period. The maximal duration of treatment including the Induction Period, LTE and OLE will be 36 months.
veno arterial (VA) extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is a rescue therapy with various indications including refractory cardiac arrest and refractory cardiogenic shock. Amiens hospital university has an ECMO program and is a regional center to address patients requiring VA ECMO. In spite of the application of international guidelines, the mortality of patients with VA remains high with an admitted survival rate at hospital discharge at 40%.
The labor induction concerns 22% of births in France. In the event of labor induction, in almost two thirds of cases, a cervical ripening method is used and the use of mechanical methods is observed for 8% of cervical ripening. Intra-cervical balloon placement is generally well tolerated but is frequently associated with pain and acute anxiety. There are few options for pain relief. Virtual reality, a relatively new intervention, has been studied as a distraction technique for pain relief, but never in the context of the induction of childbirth.
The objective of this study is to determine which gait parameters measured at home using e FeetMe® Insoles are associated with a risk for falls in a patient population suffering from osteoporosis and a higher with high risk of fractures and falls. Each patient will be asked to go to 3 visits at the Cochin hospital, and to wear the soles after each of these visits during 3 days, at home, to record the data, so that it reflects walking patterns of the patient in his/her daily life and activities. At the eachvisit, clinical tests to assess fall risk will be performed (Timed Up and Go test, one foot stance, Short Physical Performance Battery and 6 minutes walking test ). The patients will be supplied with a pair of FeetMe® Monitor Insoles, return home and walking parameters will be recorded for 3 to 10 consecutive days.
