There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a single sub-retinal injection of BIIB111 in participants with choroideremia (CHM).
Diabetes is a frequent and serious disease, with many complications. Diabetic foot ulcers are a frequent complication. Infection of diabetic foot ulcers is common, and requires heavy medical and/or surgical treatments. Antibiotherapy is one of the main options for the treatment of the diabetic foot ulcers, but it has many side effects. The aim of this study is to evaluate effectiveness and safety of medical treatments, in this population of patients.
Cytobacteriological examination of sputum and bacteriological sampling in the middle meatus.
CrossFit is a recent sport that has been democratized since the beginning of the 2000's in France. The 3 major studies of CrossFit injuries were conducted in the United States in 2014, Brazil in 2016 and the United States in 2017. They show a discrepancy in terms of injuries average, from 19.4% to 31% in relation to an upsurge in the number of CrossFit practitioners, the specific training or not of the coaches framing this activity, the practice or not in competition. The main locations of these wounds are highlighted at the shoulders, lumbar region and knees. In France, to date, no epidemiological studies have been conducted on this subject. Hypothesis: High incidence of injuries related to a lack of framing, or bad practice and ignorance of CrossFit practitioners. Objectives : Estimate the injuries incident due to the CrossFit practice over a 8-month period in an adult population who practice in clubs . Research, among the anthropometric, sociodemographic, environmental, and the nature and frequency of practice and training sessions, those which are associated with the occurrence of injury in this cohort.
Assessment of prognostic performances of CCU in CRA Recovery (CRAR) has already been explored but 1) Only in intra-hospital medicine, 2) in very variable timings. ACE Research focuses on the extra-hospital window and predictive value of Early CCU (within 12 minutes of rescucitation initiation) with ambitious endpoints : curable etiologies identification, early anticipation of ECMO procedures, early anticipation of organ donation process, and evaluation of intrinsic contribution criterion to resuscitation interruption. The primary objective of ACE study is to investigate the positive predictive value (PPV) of early ultrasound asystole on the absence of CRAR. The secondary objectives are multiple and innovative despite an observational design: impact on the morbi-mortality of the target population (frequency of curable etiologies, pre-therapeutic and therapeutic delays, morbidity...), delay of ECMO implementation of an ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), failure rate of organ donation due to overdelays, construction of a multifactorial score associated with CRAR.
This is a global Phase III, two-arm, open-label, multicenter, randomized study to investigate the pharmacokinetics, efficacy, and safety of the fixed-dose combination (FDC) of pertuzumab and trastuzumab for subcutaneous (SC) administration in combination with chemotherapy in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive early breast cancer in the neoadjuvant/adjuvant setting.
Oral health is defined as the state of being free from dental or periodontal diseases and discomfort of oral cavity. WHO considers that oral hygiene is a major public health problem whatever the countries (developed, developing, and underdeveloped). The two main local medical problems are dental caries and periodontal diseases. Without appropriate treatments, both diseases can lead to local functional and esthetic damages, and can also have some negative repercussions on health. Studies showed that there are great social disparities among people concerned by oral health issues. People in vulnerable situations (homeless and low incomes people, refugees) had less recourse to dental care. Those who consult do it less often and later. Reasons are mainly cost related, but also people in vulnerable situation don't perceive dental care as an important matter and don't know where and how to ask for help for having dental care. PASS (french acronym for "Office of Access to Healthcare") departments, setting in both private and public health institutions, are intended to facilitate the access to care and the support of people in vulnerable situations, and their accompaniment in the steps necessary for the recognition of their rights. Nurses of the Annecy PASS department had developed a questionnaire called "healthplan guide" that aim at helping them to screen and identify people with dental diseases among those in vulnerable situation, and to sensitize them about the importance of oral hygiene and how to improve it. This questionnaire is use in daily practice. This study hypothesizes that more patients will be sensitized to benefit a dental examination in a dental practice if nurses use the "healthplan guide" questionnaire combined with an oral and dental evaluation.
Bortezomib needs repetitive visits at hospital for injections. Hospital-at-Home (HaH) might be an attractive and suitable alternative in this situation. This study aim to perform a cost-utility analysis of two different strategies in several HaH structures within the Grand Est region in France.
This was a multi-center, prospective, non-randomized, open-label, Phase 2 clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of BGB-A317 in participants with relapsed or refractory mature T- and natural killer (NK)-cell neoplasms. There were three cohorts: - Cohort 1: Relapsed or refractory (R/R) extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma (ENKTL; nasal or non-nasal type) - Cohort 2: Other R/R mature T-cell neoplasms, limited to the following histologies: peripheral T-cell lymphoma-not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS), angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), or anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (ALCL) - Cohort 3: R/R cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, limited to mycosis fungoides (MF) or Sèzary syndrome (SS) Study procedures included a Screening phase (up to 35 days); Treatment phase (until disease progression, intolerable toxicity, or withdrawal of informed consent, whichever occurs first); Safety Follow-up phase (up to 90 days following last study treatment for all adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs)); and Survival follow-up phase (duration varying by participant).
- Context: Since March 2012, several terrorist attacks have been perpetrated in France (Toulouse, Montauban, Paris, Nice ...). In March 2017, 53 french teenagers were victims in a terrorist attack in London (Westminster Bridge). - Main goal = to estimate the psycho-traumatic impact and to describe cares and management of high school students, victims of the terrorist attack in London on 2017, March the 22nd. - 3 secondary objectives: 1) Clinical (occurrence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorders or other disorders); 2) Epidemiological (risk factors for developing disorders, avoiding care); 3) Preventive and therapeutic.
