Study Comparing Sirolimus With Cyclosporine in a Calcineurin Inhibitor (CNI)-Free Regimen in Kidney Transplant Recipients

Start date: June 2005
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine if one drug is superior to another with regard to safety and the preservation of renal function after a kidney transplant.

NCT ID: NCT00136591 Terminated - Follicular Lymphoma Clinical Trials

A Phase 2 Study of Velcade™ in Subjects With Relapsed or Refractory Follicular B-Cell Lymphoma

Start date: September 2005
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, randomized, sequential, international, multicentric, 2-arm, non-comparative, open-label, 2-stage clinical study to determine disease response rates to Velcade™ therapy in subjects who have relapsed or refractory follicular B-cell lymphoma. Qualitative comparisons of the 2 treatment arms based on safety, efficacy and dosing convenience will be made in order to recommend a dose schedule for further clinical study.

NCT ID: NCT00135499 Terminated - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Large-Cell, Diffuse

R-ACVBP Versus R-CHOP in Patients Aged 60-65 With Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma

Start date: October 16, 2001
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, vindesine, bleomycin, and prednisone (ACVBP) plus rituximab in comparison to cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone (CHOP) plus rituximab in patients aged from 60 to 65 years with non-previously treated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma as measured by the event-free survival. The goal is to obtain a 10% increase of event-free survival at 3 years.

NCT ID: NCT00134238 Terminated - Clinical trials for Mixed Hyperlipidemia

Carotid B-mode Ultrasound Study to Compare Anti-Atherosclerotic Effect of Torcetrapib/Atorvastatin to Atorvastatin.

RADIANCE 2
Start date: November 2003
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The Torcetrapib project was terminated on December 2, 2006 due to safety findings. To look at ultrasound images taken in the carotid arteries and to look at various lipids in the blood of people with mixed hyperlipidemia

NCT ID: NCT00133224 Terminated - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Docetaxel in Combination With GVAX ® Immunotherapy Versus Docetaxel and Prednisone in Prostate Cancer Patients

Start date: July 2005
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to compare the duration of survival between patients receiving docetaxel in combination with the GVAX® vaccine for prostate cancer versus patients receiving docetaxel and prednisone treatment in patients with prostate cancer who no longer respond to hormone therapy, who have documented metastases with pain. Patients may have had up to one prior non-taxane chemotherapy treatment.

NCT ID: NCT00132509 Terminated - Stroke, Acute Clinical Trials

FRALYSE Trial: Comparison of the Classical Rt-PA Procedure With a Longer Procedure in Acute Ischemic Stroke

Start date: September 2001
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Data from the literature have suggested that a longer time of thrombolysis might be more effective in ischemic stroke. We, the investigators at Hospices Civils de Lyon, have designed a randomized protocol to test this hypothesis. Moreover, the therapeutic window is 7 hours. Rt-PA (alteplase) is injected intravenously in the 2 arms of the study for a duration of 60 minutes in the arm with a "classical dose" and 90 minutes in the arm with a "low dose-longer infusion". This is a study of the outcome at 90 days.

NCT ID: NCT00127881 Terminated - Mycosis Fungoides Clinical Trials

Study of Human Monoclonal Antibody to Treat Mycosis Fungoides and Sezary Syndrome

Start date: July 2005
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of the drug, HuMax-CD4, in patients with mycosis fungoides(MF) and sezary syndrome who are intolerant to or do not respond to treatment with Targretin® and one other standard therapy.

NCT ID: NCT00127621 Terminated - Clinical trials for Respiratory Insufficiency

Early Tracheotomy Versus Prolonged Endotracheal Intubation in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patients

Start date: April 2002
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase III trial comparing early tracheotomy versus prolonged endotracheal intubation in intensive care unit patients needing prolonged ventilatory support.

NCT ID: NCT00127595 Terminated - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Transitional Cell

Oxaliplatin With Gemcitabine in Patients With Carcinoma of the Urothelial Tract

Start date: January 2002
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase II monocentric study of oxaliplatin (Ox) in combination with gemcitabine (Gem; GEMOX) in patients (pts) with advanced/metastatic transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the urothelial tract.

NCT ID: NCT00126243 Terminated - Clinical trials for AIDS Related Lymphoma

Efficacy of Rituximab and Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, Prednisone (CHOP) in Patients With HIV Associated Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Start date: January 1999
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Most treatment procedures in AIDS-related lymphomas disclose a relatively poor outcome for patients with low response rates, high number of relapses and AIDS events. The addition of rituximab to the standard regimen - CHOP could improve the outcome of these patients. The aim of the trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of rituximab when added to the CHOP regimen in patients with newly diagnosed AIDS-related non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
