There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
this observational, cross-sectional, national, comparative study, including RMD patients followed in hospital centres of the FAI²R Rare Diseases Healthcare Pathway network and specialist private practitioners caring for patients suffering from inflammatory rheumatism, systemic autoimmune diseases and auto-inflammatory diseases. The objective of the study is to compare RMD patients with COVID 19 infection (cases) to RMD patients who have not had COVID 19 infection (controls) on their mental health.
Post-market clinical follow-up for continued assessment of safety and performance to confirm long-term outcomes of the InterStim Micro System for sacral neuromodulation.
Respiratory infection with the SARS-CoV2 virus is associated with a major risk of viral pneumonia that can lead to respiratory distress requiring resuscitation. In the most severe forms, it may require a mechanical ventilation or even lead to an acute respiratory distress syndrome with a particularly poor prognosis. The SARS-CoV2 is a single-stranded RNA virus of positive polarity and belongs to the beta genus of Coronaviruses. SARS-CoV2 is responsible for the third epidemic in less than twenty years secondary to a Coronavirus (SARS-CoV then MERS-CoV) and if the mortality associated with it is lower than that of previous strains, particularly MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome), its spread is considerably bigger. As a result, the number of patients developing respiratory distress that require an invasive mechanical ventilation is high, with prolonged ventilation duration in these situations.
The main objective of this monocentric prospective study is to evaluate the amplitudes and angular velocities of extension of the hand and wrist joints during passive mobilization by a physiotherapist in healthy subjects and stroke patients with spastic hands. Secondary objectives: - To compare amplitude and angular velocity values between the group of stroke patients and the group of healthy volunteers, - To compare amplitude and angular velocity values according to the two types of mobilization (i,e, thumb or fifth finger), - To assess pain due to mobilization in stroke patients.
Clinical study designed to collect blood for research purposes in patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or in patients with a medical condition where the blood cells production is impaired. The blood samples will be used to study the role of Interferon gamma (IFNɣ) in graft failure or impairment of hematopoietic stem cell proliferation. The IFNɣ signature will be assessed by measuring primarily IFNɣ and C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 9 (CXCL9).
ACCOMPAGNE study proposes to evaluate an educational program for the patient / caregiver dyad, intended to accompany the patient towards the implementation of self-regulation strategies in the driving activity. The program, based on group workshops with the presence of the patient and the caregiver, is led by an interdisciplinary team. It follows all the intervention recommendations described in the literature: to make the patient a decision-maker, to allow advanced planning of discussions between the family member and the caregiver, to give information on the consequences of TNCs and sensory disorders. This program provides psychological support in the management of the problems and the mourning of a future cessation of the driving activity, an awareness of the risky and avoidable situations, information on alternative solutions and available resources in the event of reduced driving. The program is created to support the implementation of self-regulation strategies for safe driving and a gradual reduction of driving activity. This study may be included in Measure 5 of the Neuro-Degenerative Diseases Plan (PMND) 2014-2019. This plan recommends to strengthen the self-management of patients and their relatives in the disease.
This study is open to people with palmoplantar pustulosis who took part in previous clinical studies of a medicine called spesolimab. Participants who benefited from spesolimab treatment in the previous studies can join this study. The purpose of this study is to find out how safe spesolimab is and whether it helps people with palmoplantar pustulosis in the long-term. Participants are in this study for up to 5 years. During this time they visit the study site every month to get spesolimab injections under the skin. At study visits, doctors check the severity of participants' palmoplantar pustulosis and collect information on any health problems of the participants.
This is a phase 2b, randomized, multicenter, parallel group, partially blind (to GSK3640254 doses [100, 150 and 200 milligrams {mg}]), active controlled clinical trial. It will aim to investigate the safety, efficacy and dose-response of GSK3640254 compared to dolutegravir (DTG), each given in combination with 2 Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NRTIs) (abacavir/lamivudine [ABC/3TC] or emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide [FTC/TAF])
The aim of this project is to evaluate the impact of pandemic and nonconfinement related to anxiety and eventual immune diseases with several standardized questionnaires : Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) , Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire -9 (PHQ-9), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder-8 (PTSD-8), and Experiences in Close Relationship Scale (ECRS).
The main purpose of this study was to evaluate bintrafusp alfa monotherapy in participants with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) who express high levels of HMGA2 as determined by a centralized reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test.
