NCT ID: NCT02979184 Active, not recruiting - Lymphedema Clinical Trials

Prevalence of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in Patients With Lymphedema, Admitted for Intensive Decongestive Physiotherapy

LYMPHOS
Start date: November 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Rehabilitation results in a decrease of the perimeters of the limb with lymphedema by a decrease in the amount of liquid of the affected limb, with movement of the intracellular liquid towards the trunk and the neck then into the jugular-subclavian confluence, the superior vena cava and right atrium without modification of extracellular fluid. No study have evaluated the prevalence of sleep apnea syndrome in this population and the effect of this treatment on sleep apnea syndrome.

NCT ID: NCT02977819 Active, not recruiting - Cognitive Aging Clinical Trials

Study in Cognitively Intact Seniors Aiming to Assess the Effects of Meditation Training

Age-Well
Start date: November 24, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

As the number of older people in Europe grows, increasing healthy life years is a priority. As people live longer, ensuring good mental as well as physical health into later years is becoming ever more important. Cognitive decline, dementia (e.g. Alzheimer's Disease, AD), sleep disturbances and depression, all related to psychological distress and anxiety, are significant drivers of reduced quality of life in older adults. This project builds on evidence that meditation practice have the potential to downregulate these adverse factors and positively impact mental and neurological conditions including AD.

NCT ID: NCT02976714 Active, not recruiting - Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Trials

Identification of Predictive Epigenetic Biomarkers of Lung Disease Severity in Cystic Fibrosis

MethylBiomark
Start date: December 12, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The general aims of this project are (i) to identify predictive epigenetic biomarkers of lung disease severity in Cystic Fibrosis, (ii) to characterize a non-invasive cellular model, spontaneous sputum, for the analysis of these epigenetic biomarkers, (iii) to analyze the variations in DNA methylation for a same patient over time.

NCT ID: NCT02975934 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer

A Study of Rucaparib Versus Physician's Choice of Therapy in Participants With Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer and Homologous Recombination Gene Deficiency

TRITON3
Start date: June 13, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine how participants with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, and evidence of a homologous recombination gene deficiency, respond to treatment with rucaparib versus treatment with physician's choice of abiraterone acetate, enzalutamide, or docetaxel.

NCT ID: NCT02974881 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Mitral Valve Insufficiency

HighLife™ Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement System Study

Start date: July 20, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Multicenter feasibility study of the HighLife™ TMVR system.

NCT ID: NCT02973789 Active, not recruiting - NSCLC Clinical Trials

Effect of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) (150 kHz) Concurrent With Standard of Care Therapies for Treatment of Stage 4 Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Following Platinum Failure (LUNAR)

Start date: December 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is a prospective, randomized controlled phase III trial aimed to test the efficacy and safety of TTFields, using the NovoTTF-200T device, concurrent with standard therapies for stage 4 NSCLC patients, following progression while on or after platinum based treatment. The device is an experimental, portable, battery operated device for chronic administration of alternating electric fields (termed TTFields or TTF) to the region of the malignant tumor, by means of surface, insulated electrode arrays.

NCT ID: NCT02973542 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Ethosuximide to Treat IBS

IBSET
Start date: April 30, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Abdominal pain remains the most deleterious symptom for patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and is causing a significant alteration of their quality of life. The visceral hypersensitivity seems to be one of the key mechanisms that could explain the abdominal pain in these patients. Current treatments, mainly symptomatic, are of limited effectiveness, especially in terms of relief of abdominal pain. The study will aim to evaluate the effectiveness of ethosuximide on abdominal pain in patients with IBS, its tolerance and its impact on patient quality of life, severity of symptoms related to IBS and the use of analgesics / antispasmodic / regulators transit.

NCT ID: NCT02972840 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Mantle Cell

A Study of BR Alone Versus in Combination With Acalabrutinib in Subjects With Previously Untreated MCL

Start date: April 5, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is evaluating the efficacy of acalabrutinib in combination with bendamustine and rituximab (BR) compared with placebo plus BR in subjects with previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT02972060 Active, not recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

ODM-201 vs Androgen Deprivation Therapy in Hormone naïve Prostate Cancer

Start date: December 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label non-comparative controlled randomized phase II study. The experimental arm is the group receiving ODM-201. The group receiving androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) is included as an internal control. The primary trial objective is to demonstrate that ODM-201 produces prostate-specific antigen (PSA) response rates at 24 weeks (defined as ≥80% reduction compared to baseline) that are in the range of those achieved with 24 weeks of ADT. In total, this 1:1 randomized study will therefore require randomization of at least 250 patients, 125 to each arm.

NCT ID: NCT02970318 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Start date: February 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy of acalabrutinib compared with rituximab in combination with idelalisib or bendamustine in previously treated subjects with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
