There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
In this study, 120 patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) will be included on a two years-period in an intensive care unit (Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Marseille, France). Those patients will benefit from a blood test at inclusion in order to measure several coagulation biomarkers, including EV-TF. Subsequently, these patients will be treated according to the usual practices of the department, following recommendations. Patients who received an injected CT scan between Day 5 and Day 28 will be divided into two groups based on the presence or absence of a pulmonary embolism on imaging. The measured values of EV-TF levels and other studied biomarkers will be compared between these two groups in order to detect a possible association between them and the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. It should be noted that patients receiving an injected CT-scan between Day 5 and Day 7 will be included in the main analysis while those receiving it between Day 8 and Day 28 will be included in the secondary analysis. Others will be excluded from any analysis. At the same time, several collections of clinical data will be carried out: on Day 1, Day 7, Day 28, and on the day of the CT scan if it is performed at another time.
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of perioperative dostarlimab compared with standard of care (SOC) in participants with untreated T4N0 or Stage III (resectable), defective mismatch repair/ microsatellite instability high (dMMR/MSI-H) colon cancer.

The goal of this study is to characterize and validate a signature of circulating biomarkers in plasma, associated with the presence of gastric preneoplasia in patients with preexisting gastric lesion compared with a control group. For this purpose: - Patients with pre-existing gastric lesions will be invited to participate to this study. Because of the difficulties of disorganizing the dental biofilm in these adolescents with fixed orthodontic treatment, electric toothbrushes have been proposed as an alternative to manual toothbrushes. Electric toothbrushes, available in a wide range of price points, have been developed with the goal of replicating the complex motions required by the manual toothbrush and making plaque removal more efficient. However, the overall effect size is limited, and the clinical relevance is not yet clear. Applied to orthodontics, specialized manual toothbrushes have also recently been developed. Few recent clinical trials have been conducted in patients with orthodontic appliances. Thus, the question of whether and which type of manual or electric toothbrushes may be beneficial for patients with orthodontic appliances is still unresolved. Given the variety of toothbrushes available on the market, there is a need for sound clinical research to evaluate their effectiveness to guide professional recommendations. This work will provide a significant advance in the knowledge of the potential of the latest generation of electric toothbrushes on gingival inflammation, potentially reducing the risk of caries and gingival lesions.
The biomechanical parameters studied in non-specific chronic low back pain patients in a locomotion task have so far focused on straight line walking. Although locomotion is primarily an automated action composed of repetitive patterns allowing movement from one place to another, walkers must respond to the environmental demands.These modifications show a flexible and adaptive approach to the constraints of the environment. In this study, the investigators are particularly interested in a task of crossing between two pedestrians, which is a standardised task that has shown its interest in the study of perceptual-motor co-ordination. In particular, it allows to study the mutual adaptation of speed and orientation between the two walkers.
