Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Using Low-pressure Combined With Warm and Humidified Carbon Dioxide Insufflation

To improve post-operative recovery, medical device was developed combining low-pressure pneumoperitoneum and heated and humidified Carbon Dioxide (95˚F & 95% RH) during laparoscopic surgery to reduce the harmful effects of cold/dry insufflation. A double-blind, prospective, randomized, controlled, monocentric trial is designed in the aim to assess the impact of low-pressure pneumoperitoneum with warm and humidified gaz on post-operative pain at 24 hours without taking opioids. It is compared with low-pressure laparoscopy with cold and dry gaz in patients undergoing colorectal surgeries.

Most psychiatric research is based on the nosographic classifications used in current practice. At present, there is no diagnostic or prognostic biomarker for psychiatric pathologies commonly used in clinical practice. The study hypothesis is that peripheral inflammatory biomarkers could be common to several psychiatric disorders, in particular psychotic disorders (bipolar disorder, schizophreniform disorder, schizophrenia, depressive episode with psychotic features). The aim of this project is to set up a bio-collection of biological samples (peripheral blood samples) with associated phenotypic data (assessment of various symptoms using standardized scales in patients whose blood is sampled). The setting up of this cohort follows on from work carried out on a PsyCourse cohort also using a transdiagnostic approach in psychiatry, in order to be able to collaborate within a European research project.

Researchers want to know if V940 with pembrolizumab is better than receiving pembrolizumab alone at preventing the cancer from returning.

This is a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of givinostat in non-ambulant male paediatric (aged 9 to <18 years) patients with DMD. 138 patients will be randomised 2:1 to givinostat or placebo and will be treated for 18 months. - Planned screening duration: approximately 4 weeks (±14 days) - Planned treatment duration: 18 months (approximately 72 weeks) - Planned follow-up duration: 4 weeks (±7 days) (for patients not participating in the long-term safety study) - Total duration of study participation: up to 83 weeks (ie, 20-21 months)

Data collection will focus on the analysis of 2 specific pathologies for French patients in the "Auvergne-Rhône Alpes" Area: peritoneal carcinosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Ablation of Subcutaneous Contraceptive Implants in the Operating Room

The ablation of subcutaneous contraceptive implants is usually performed in consultation under local anesthesia. However, it happens that the implant was placed too deeply or that it migrated too deeply making it impossible to remove it in consultation. These patients should then be referred to reference centers so that the explantation takes place in the operating room. The investigators propose to describe their techniques for preoperative visualization of the implant and their techniques for surgical explantation for educational purposes.
