There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This 24-week open-label extension study is designed to provide additional long-term safety data up to a total of 1-year for patients rolling over from the core study, and to collect further efficacy and tolerability data for all the patients, irrespective whether they have an acute flare of gout or not. Patients will be treated on demand with canakinumab (ACZ885) in this extension study.
The joint status (knees, ankles) of patients suffering from severe Hemophilia A (too little blood clotting factor VIII in blood) is evaluated in a single magnetic resonance imaging session. No study medication is given.
The purpose of this study is to estimate adherence to treatment in bipolar patients, to characterize patients based on adherence degree and to describe the variables linked to poor adherence to treatment in real-life practice.
This is an epidemiological, prospective, multicenter study designed to identify the pre-treatment clinical, molecular and genetic prognostic factors associated with progression free survival in patients naïve to renal cell carcinoma (RCC) treatment.
The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of two toothpastes in controlling established gingivitis and dental plaque in adults.
The study is aimed to assess the possible benefit of non-positive pressure mechanical support in front of conventional ventilation in patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) because of pure hypoxemic respiratory failure.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether once monthly (QM) dosing of darbepoetin alfa is non-inferior to that of once every 2 week (Q2W) dosing of darbepoetin alfa for the correction of anemia in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease who are not receiving dialysis.
The primary objective of this study was to compare the effect of migalastat (123 milligrams [mg] of migalastat [equivalent to 150 mg of migalastat hydrochloride]) (migalastat) versus placebo on kidney globotriaosylceramide (GL-3).
The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of the consumption of two different dietary patterns (low fat versus Mediterranean Diet) on the incidence of cardiovascular events of persons with coronary disease.
The 2006 American Heart Association / American Stroke Association Council on Stroke Guidelines for Prevention of Stroke in Patients With Ischemic Stroke or Transient Ischemic recommended that patients with cryptogenic stroke take antithrombotic drugs (i.e. aspirin) in order to prevent a second stroke. When a stroke patient is found to have atrial fibrillation (AF), the guidelines recommend oral anticoagulation due to its superior efficacy over aspirin for stroke prevention. Physicians can best optimize the use of medicines only if they can precisely and correctly diagnose a patient's AF. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the time to first AF by 6 months' continuous rhythm monitoring versus control treatment in subjects with a recent cryptogenic stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) without history of AF.
