There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this trial was to compare two doses of abituzumab with placebo and determine whether abituzumab was more effective, safer, would be better tolerated and could provoke better immune response than placebo in the treatment of participants with SSc-ILD who already receive constant doses of mycophenolate.
This multicenter open-label extension study is designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of lampalizumab intravitreal injections in participants with GA secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) who completed 96 weeks of treatment in Studies GX29176 (NCT02247479) or GX29185 (NCT02247531). The extension will enroll participants from the parent studies who received investigational lampalizumab, as well as lampalizumab-naive participants exposed to sham comparator. All participants will receive open-label lampalizumab in the present study.
Phase 3, placebo controlled, double-blind, randomized clinical study to determine safety, tolerability, and efficacy of pulsed, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) versus placebo in symptomatic subjects with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Part 1 and Part 2
This is a phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of GSK1070806 in subjects undergoing renal transplantation. GSK1070806 is an anti-interleukin 18 (IL18) monoclonal antibody, which binds to IL-18 and inhibits signaling through the IL-18 receptor. Recipients of donor kidneys, retrieved after circulatory death of the donor, will be administered a single intravenous infusion of GSK1070806 to test whether inhibition of IL-18 can reduce the rate of Delayed Graft Function (DGF) and graft rejection. Subjects will be followed for 12 months post dose/transplant. Up to 40 adult subjects will be enrolled in this study.
This study is in two parts and will evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of escalating single intravenous (IV) doses of ocrelizumab compared with placebo in combination with methotrexate in participants with moderate to severe RA. Part 1 is the dose-escalation study, at one of the following dose levels of ocrelizumab [400, 1000, 1500, and 2000 milligrams (mg)]. In Part 2, participants will be randomized to explore tolerability and efficacy of doses which have been shown to be tolerated in Part 1.
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether basic periodontal therapy aim to reduce subgingival levels of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, has an impact on the vascular function of patients suffering from established cardiovascular disease.
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of PEGylated Recombinant Human Hyaluronidase (PEGPH20) combined with nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine (PAG treatment), compared with placebo combined with nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine (AG treatment), in participants with hyaluronan (HA)-high Stage IV previously untreated pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA).
This prospective, double-blind randomized controlled trial evaluates the differences in terms of efficacy and safety of gelatin based resuscitation as compared to crystalloid based resuscitation in two parallel groups of patients with severe sepsis / septic shock.
A phase I study of LTT462 in patients with advanced solid tumors that harbor MAPK pathway alterations.
The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the effect of Elafibranor treatment compared to placebo on 1) histological improvement and 2) all-cause mortality and liver-related outcomes in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and fibrosis.
