NCT ID: NCT02785822 Terminated - Clinical trials for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Study to Compare hFSH-HP (Fostipur) and hMG-HP(Meriofert) in Patients With Polycystic Ovary Under a IVF/ICSI Cycle.

Start date: February 23, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Polycystic ovary occurs in 15-20% of the population will be submitted to TRA. Whether it is associated with other signs or symptoms (polycystic ovarian syndrome) as if presented in isolation, its therapeutic management has special connotations sometimes favoring the low response although the standard is the tendency to hyperresponsiveness. Although there are studies comparing the combination of FSH and LH and FSH in controlled hyperstimulation of these patients, there are no previous prospective randomized studies comparing administration of urinary FSH (hFSH-HP) with a combination of FSH and HCG (HMG HP). Therefore the aim of this study is to prove that both drugs are comparable in the treatment of these patients. The test substances are marketed in Spain (Fostipur and Meriofert, respectively) with an indication for use in these patients. In this study both medicines will be administered in a randomized way under the usual conditions in which it is used in routine clinical practice to compare the quantity of mature oocytes respect to the total oocytes obtained, as a primary outcome measure.

NCT ID: NCT02783404 Terminated - Endocarditis Clinical Trials

An Oral Amoxicillin-Clavulanate Regimen to Prevent Bacteremia Following Dental Procedures

Start date: February 27, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Although controversy exists regarding the efficacy of antibiotic prophylaxis for patients at risk of infective endocarditis, expert committees continue to publish recommendations for antibiotic prophylactic regimens. Recently, the investigators have evaluated the efficacy of the intravenous administration of 1000/200 mg of amoxicillin/clavulanate for the prevention of bacteraemia following dental extractions. The results of this study suggest that is highly effective, and that it might be considered a first-line choice for patients at high-risk for infective endocarditis who undergo dental procedures and for whom antimicrobial prophylaxis is recommended. This new project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of oral amoxicillin/clavulanate in preventing post-dental extraction bloodstream infection.

NCT ID: NCT02773550 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Treatment With a Scheme With Low Doses of Bortezomib / Melphalan / Prednisone (MPV) in Patients With Multiple Myeloma

Velcadito
Start date: January 2014
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial is a multicenter, cohort, with one arm to study the SLP to 18 months of Velcadito scheme (velcade 1.0 mg / m2 administered over two days with melphalan and prednisone) in patients with MM diagnosis again higher 75. After completion of the protocol patients were still approximately every two months, in clinical practice, to observe the survival and answers to other treatments. All the scans are part of the normal routine. The realization of diagnostic tests and drug treatment will be performed regardless of the patient's participation in the study as part of routine clinical practice All patients who meet criteria. The incidence of MM age-adjusted to cover the participating hospitals is estimated in 44 patients. Patients will receive a course of 4 weeks duration of Melphalan / Prednisone / Velcade consist in Melphalan, 9 mg / m2 orally daily 1-4 and Prednisone 60 mg / m2 orally on days 1 to 4, in combination Velcade with a dose of 1.3 mg / m2 sc twice weekly (days 1, 4, 8, 11), followed by 2 weeks of rest (cycle duration of 4 weeks) and seven four-week cycles duration of melphalan / prednisone / Velcade consist in Melphalan, 9 mg / m2 orally on days 1 to 4 and prednisone, 60 mg / m2 orally on days 1 to 4, in combination with Velcade, at doses of 1, 0 mg / m2 sc (days 1, 4). Melphalan and Prednisone will be dispensed for oral administration. The Melphalan should be administered in a single two hours separately taking any food and prednisone be taken in the morning with or immediately after a meal. The amount in mg will be calculated based on the body surface, to be calculated on day 1 of each cycle. Velcade for administration, calculated on day 1 of the cycle will be the same dose throughout the entire cycle. If a patient experiences a gain or loss of remarkable weight within the cycle, the dose to be administered will be recalculated based on the new body surface. The appropriate amount of Velcadeserá dispensed in a sc injection. Velcade dose between two leave at least 72 hours

NCT ID: NCT02765165 Terminated - Clinical trials for Solid Tumors (Phase 1)

Phase 1/2 Study of USL311 +/- Lomustine in Advanced Solid Tumors or Relapsed/Recurrent Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM)
