There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a study designed to validate Kawamura´s theory and investigation of activation of primordial follicles through ovarian cortex fragmentation. Our aim is to evaluate embryo quality following this procedure in poor ovarian responders and patients with decreased ovarian reserve. Secondary objectives are to assess potential association with the number of oocytes retrieved and pregnancy rates after IVF.
This study aims to understand the efficacy of two probiotic interventions as prophylaxes of migraine symptoms in individuals diagnosed with episodic migraine. The primary outcome measure will be migraine days per month, but secondary outcome measures such as use of analgesia, the wider impact of migraine (as assessed through the HIT-6 score) will also be assessed. Finally adverse effects will be evaluated. The study will have three arms: two arms including the two different probiotic preparations and a third placebo arm.
The hypothesis is that patients with structural heart disease who are treated by STructural heARt nurses obtain better results in indicators of quality of care, compared with the usual practice (or not assisted) by this type of new interventional cardiology's nursing role.
This is a prospective, single arm, open-label, exploratory study in women with primary operable HER2-positive, HER2-enriched(HER2-E)/ERBB2-high breast cancer according to PAM50 intrinsic subtype and a ERBB2 pre-defined cutoff (high vs low ERBB2 expression), to evaluate the omission of surgery and sentinel lymph node dissection in patients with HER2-E and ERBB2 high breast cancer who achieving a complete response following standard anti-HER2-based neoadjuvant therapy with paclitaxel/trastuzumab/pertuzumab.
To know the effects of a physical therapy intervention in patients hospitalized with pleural effusion. The investigators will study the effects of the intervention in hospital stay, health status, psychologica distress and quality of life.
Objectives: To establish if there are differences between an ultrasound-guided transrectal prostate biopsy (BPTE) and a transperineal prostatic biopsy (BPTP) with and without a multiparametric Magnetic Resonance (RMmp) in patients with clinical suspicion of prostate cancer (PC) to first prostatic biopsy in terms of: 1. Rate of detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer. 2. Aggressiveness of the detected tumors. 3. Association of the marker [-2] proPSA and the prostate cancer health index (PHI) and microRNAs for the diagnosis of tumors. 4. Adverse effects of the intervention and subjective perception of the patient: pain and degree of satisfaction, and impairment of quality of life. 5. Cost-effectiveness analysis of the different intervention options. Study Design: Randomized, single-blind prospective clinical study to compare four schemes: RMmp + BPTE vs. BPTE 12 cylinders vs RMmp + BPTP vs BPTP 12 cylinders. Study population: Patients with clinical suspicion of prostate cancer with PSA between 3-20 ng / mL and normal or abnormal rectal examination, candidates for a first prostate biopsy. Research techniques: BPTE standard of 12 cylinders compared to RMmp previous to BPTE vs BPTP of 12 cylinders compared to BPTP with previous RMmp.
Comparison of the concordance of albumin nanocolloid and Lymphoseek® in the detection of lymph nodes of primary and secondary stage drainage by performing two lymphogammagrams
Introduction. One of the most common injuries in competitive esports professionals is dorsolumbar and neck pain, due to the effort caused by the maintenance of the site for long periods of time. Cervical motor control exercises recruit the deep musculature by increasing its strength and reducing muscle fatigue. Aim. Evaluate the effectiveness of motor control exercises in cervical muscle fatigue and strength, in electronic athletes from 18 to 25 years. Study design. Randomized clinical trial, simple blind. Methods. 30 electronic athletes will be randomly assigned in two groups: experimental (which will perform 3 sessions of 3 motor control exercises) and control (which will not perform any type of intervention). The intervention will last 6 weeks, with 3 weekly sessions of 10 minutes each. The study variables are the muscle strength of the deep cervical muscle (measured by a stabilizer pressure gauge) and the subjective perception of the effort (Borg scale). Expected results. The aim is an improvement in the muscular strength of deep cervical muscles, together with a decrease in subjective perception of exertion.
The aim of this study is to establish the Piperacillin-Tazobactam and Meropenem Plasmatic Levels to know if it´s necessary to make some adjustment in the recommended dose regimen.
The aim of this study is to determine the Ceftolozane-Tazobactam Plasmatic Levels and and analyse the clinical impact that might have the dose regimens that have been used until now.
