OKI-219-101 is a Phase 1a/1b, open-label, multicenter, dose-escalation study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PDx), and efficacy of OKI-219 as monotherapy and in combination with fulvestrant or trastuzumab. Phase 1a (Part A) will investigate escalating doses of OKI-219 monotherapy, and Phase 1b will investigate OKI-219 (at a tolerated dose determined in Part A) in combination with standard dose fulvestrant (Part B) or standard dose trastuzumab (Part C). Participants will continue to receive study treatment until disease progression, intolerable toxicity, or other study treatment withdrawal criteria are met.

Suicide has become a first-order public health concern after the negative impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the mental health of the general population. Few studies have analyzed the effects of early psychotherapeutic interventions on subjects who have attempted suicide, and even fewer focus on those hospitalized in nonpsychiatric units after a medically serious suicide attempt (MSSA). The most important risk factor for attempting suicide is having made a previous suicide attempt. Subjects are also at higher risk the first year after the attempt. The main aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of individual psychological treatment with patients hospitalized after a MSSA. The secondary objectives are: 1) acknowledge the evolution of the incidence of MSSA hospitalized during the pandemic; 2) analyze the impact of the psychological intervention using biological, psychosocial, and clinical variables. An experimental, controlled, and randomized trial will be conducted with patients older than 16 admitted to two general hospitals. The case group will receive an 8- session of individual psychotherapy while the control group received treatment as usual. Longitudinal assessment will be conducted at baseline, post-treatment, and 3, 6, and 12 months after. The main outcome variable will be re-attempting suicide during the follow-up.
This is a Phase IIb, open-label, uncontrolled, multi-centre, non-inferiority clinical trial, to assess the safety and immunogenicity of BIMERVAX® as a heterologous booster dose in adolescents. In this study a total of 300 adolescents from 12 to less than 18 years will be enrolled and followed for 12 months.
This is a single-center, observational, descriptive, longitudinal, and prospective study This study aims to determine the cumulative incidence during admission and the incidence rate of potential hypoglycemic events (defined as subcutaneous glucose <80 mg/dL detected by CGM) in patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of HLA Moncloa Hospital over four years of follow-up. The study also aims to document the occurrences of hypoglycemic events, describe the characteristics of patients receiving CGM sensors, and outline the actions taken as a result of detecting potential hypoglycemic events
The effectiveness of non-invasive neuromodulation in adult women with primary dysmenorrhea, through the TENS stimulation at different times in each group: during the bleeding phase (G1), between days 25-28 and 1-3 of menstrual cycle, and in the luteal phase (GI2), between days 17 to 24 of menstrual cycle. The control group (CG) will be treated just like GI1, during the bleeding phase, but without the TENS transmitting the current. Participants will be evaluated by the NPRS, MPQ, SF12, CVM-22, HADS, PCS, PSQI and UDP immediately after treatment in GI1 and GC, and at the beginning of the next bleeding phase, being 28 days after the intervention in the case of GI1 and GC, and 7 days after the intervention in the case of GI2, as well as 28 days after in this last.
Crohn's disease (CD) is a long-lasting condition causing inflammation that can affect any part of the gut. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TAK-279 versus placebo in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD). The main aim of this study is to learn if the 3 different doses of TAK-279 reduce bowel inflammation and ulcers in the bowel compared to the placebo after 12 weeks of treatment. Another aim is to compare any medical problems that participants have when they take TAK-279 or placebo and how well the participants tolerate any problems. An endoscopy will be used to check the bowel for inflammation. The participants will be treated with TAK-279 for 52 weeks (1 year). During the study, participants will visit their study clinic 15 times.t
Preeclampsia (PE) is a major obstetric complication with short- and long-term consequences for the mother and the fetus. Early screening tools to reduce its mortality and morbidity, as well as to prevent the life-threatening consequences are needed. Thus, the detection of women at risk of suffering PE is key to apply preventive and treatment strategies. Recently, the maternal contribution to PE based on defective decidualization that prevents the establishment of a functional maternal-fetal interface has been evidenced. The main objective of this study is to identify molecular markers or aberrant maternal-fetal cell types that can be detected early in the development of the disease in chorionic villi collected during gestational weeks 9 to 14. Chorionic villi will be collected from women who have a recommendation for aneuploidy testing. The remaining fragment will be used for this study.
Respiratory diseases are a common cause of mortality and disability at the worldwide and national levels. Many of them are characterized by underdiagnosis and diagnosis in advanced stages of the disease, and in most of them, forced spirometry is one of the fundamental tools to assess the diagnosis and seriousness of the disease. To help in improving the detection of respiratory diseases and the understanding of the respiratory health of the general population, one possible solution would be to develop a mobile application that could assess respiratory health by using the sound signal of exhaled air recorded by a mobile microphone. This project will aim to validate a mobile application (WebApp) for the detection of pulmonary function disorders. It is planned to recruit 267 subjects, with and without respiratory disease, who are attended in pulmonary function laboratories of 10 Spanish hospitals, to compare the sensitivity of this application in the diagnosis of pulmonary function disorders (either obstructive patterns or PRISm) versus the gold standard (spirometry). Ease of use and user satisfaction with the application will also be assessed.
The study investigates the effectiveness of Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) in improving venous flow and reducing symptoms in venous insufficiency patients. The primary goal is to demonstrate CDT's effects, with secondary goals assessing symptom relief, life quality improvement, and adverse effects. The trial is a simple blind randomized design, involving an experimental group receiving CDT plus exercises and a control group doing exercises alone. Participants are adults with specific classifications of venous insufficiency, excluding certain health conditions. The study will involve 12 participants in the experimental group and 9 in the control group.
