There are about 21071 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Spain. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will test a medicine, NNC6019-0001, for people who have a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis. It will look at how safe this medicine is in the long term and if it can reduce symptoms of a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis, such as heart failure. It is an extension to a study called "A research study to look at how a new medicine called NNC6019-0001 works and how safe it is for people who have a heart disease due to TTR amyloidosis". Only participants who have completed that study will be invited for this new study. Participants will get NNC6019-0001, regardless of whether they got placebo or NNC6019-0001 in the first study. The study will last for up to 157 weeks (36 months/3 years).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of guselkumab in pediatric participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis at the end of maintenance therapy among participants who were induction responders.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) success is below 40%, with Embryo Transfer the leading cause of IVF failure. This clinical investigation aims to evaluate if the levels of an intrauterine biomarker dissolved in the uterine fluid (alone or as a complex biological marker) can predict the outcome of embryo transfer.
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare an intervention with a narrative therapy-based approach with standard care in overusers in general practice . The main question it aims to answer are: • An intervention with an approach based on narrative therapy can improve the perception of emotional support, and reduce the probability of suffering from anxiety and/or depression, the number of consultations, and the number of medications in primary care overusers. Participants will 10 individual sessions carried out over five months. The interval between sessions will be two weeks with a specific duration of fifty minutes per session.. If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare two groups of overusers to see if reduces the number of visits to the primary care doctor.
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of a high-intensity Mediterranean diet intervention over 16 weeks in a group of patients with mild to moderate psoriasis in terms of skin improvement as measured by PASI. In addition, the aim of this study will be to gather the necessary information for a larger and more extended clinical trial in the future. Participants will be provided with dietary education for the implementation of the Mediterranean diet, supported by a monthly follow-up by nutritionists with experience in the field. Researchers will compare the effect of the Mediterranean diet on these patients to a control group provided with standard recommendations for a low-fat diet with no monitoring by nutritionists.
The goal of this observational study is: To assess the use of Coloplast TFL Drive in daily practice To confirm: - the safety and efficacy of the Coloplast TFL Drive and its GUI (Graphical User Interface) with pre-embedded settings in Laser lithotripsy - the safety and efficacy of the Coloplast TFL Drive and its GUI with pre-embedded settings for enucleation of prostate as treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia - the safety and efficacy of the Coloplast TFL Drive and its GUI with pre-embedded settings for ablation of urological tumors
The goal of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of Dostarlimab compared to Placebo in adult participants with HNSCC (Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma)
Neck pain is a common disorder in industrialized countries. Manual therapy techniques have been commonly used in the treatment of this problem. Actually, there is no research work that has evaluated the work well of treatment with soft tissue techniques (massage) applied to the dorsal paravertebral muscle in the management of neck pain. The goal of this study (clinical trial) is to compare the efficacy of a massage protocol performed on the dorsal region in subjects with mechanical neck pain. The researchers will compare: A group that will be treated with a local protocol of cervical manual therapy and therapeutic exercise along with the treatment(massage) of the thoracic region. Another group that will be treated only with a local protocol of cervical manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. It is to see if the inclusion of treatment of the thoracic region improves the local intervention in cervical region.
The purpose of this study is to determine recommended phase 2 dose(s) (RP2Ds) of JNJ-79032421 and to determine the safety and tolerability of JNJ-79032421 at the RP2D(s).
The importance of the stability of hard and soft tissues has been shown to be of paramount importance for long-term implant success. To reach optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes, implant placement must be planned accordingly to prosthetic needs and design. Prosthetically driven implant placement is based on a diagnostic prosthetic set-up that is followed by precise implant planification and placement using CBCT and intraoral scanning. The aim of this research is to evaluate how the clinical and anatomical factors can influence the 3D position of guided surgery.
