RE-SEARCH Study: A Study to Learn How and in Which Amount Regorafenib is Given in Usual Practice to Patients in Spain: a Study Looking Back at Cases That Have Already Happened When the Study Begins.

Researchers are collecting more information to improve treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) with regorafenib. Metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) is a cancer that starts in the large bowel and involves the rectum (the lowest part of the gut) and has spread to other parts of the body. Regorafenib is available to treat patients with mCRC that have previously been treated with, or are not considered candidates for, available therapies. It is an anti-cancer drug that blocks several proteins called enzymes which are involved in the growth of cancer. It is known that doctors may change the amount (the dose) of regorafenib they give, so that the patients better tolerate the treatment. Little information is however available on the doses of regorafenib given in Spain in usual practice. In this study researchers want to learn how and in which amount regorafenib is usually given to patients with mCRC in Spain. They aim to identify the starting dose of regorafenib and to describe dosing patterns during the first two four-week treatment periods (cycles) according to usual clinical practice. To answer these questions, the researchers will look back at cases that have already happened when the study begins. Medical history data from the day of diagnosis of the mCRC until the day prior to the inclusion in the study is collected from the medical records of adult patients with mCRC. All patients must have started their treatment with regorafenib since January 2017 and have taken regorafenib for at least 3 months. The researchers will collect the information between around June 2021 until around November 2021. The final report is planned to be available in July 2022. No investigational products will be administered in this study. Moreover, no additional visits or laboratory tests will be performed apart from the usual tests/treatments done in usual practice.

The 4-meter walk test and 10-meter walk test is currently applied to assess gait speed.These tools are frequently used in clinical trials and were also shown to be reliable measurement methods. There are ocassions where it is not possible to have a long corridor to measure gait speed. It is necessary to have a tool to evaluate gait speed in a small space as 4-meter walk test.

A Study of BI 765128 in Patients With an Eye Condition Called Diabetic Macular Ischemia Who Have Received Laser Treatment

This study is open to adults with diabetic macular ischemia who have received laser treatment. The main purpose of this study is to find out whether people with diabetic macular ischemia can tolerate a medicine called BI 765128. In this study, BI 765128 is given to people for the first time. The study has 2 parts. Part A tests 3 doses of BI 765128. Participants get either a low, medium or high dose of BI 765128 as a single injection into the eye. If participants tolerate it well, the highest dose will be used in part B. In part B, participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. 1 group gets BI 765128 as injection into the eye. The other group gets sham injections. A sham injection means that it is not a real injection and contains no medicine. Participants cannot tell whether they get the real injection or a sham injection. In this part, participants receive study treatment once every month for 3 months. Participants in part A are in the study for about 4 months and visit the study site about 8 times. Participants in part B are in the study for about 5 months and visit the study site about 7 times. The doctors regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Chiropractic care on pain, quality of life and sleep in pregnant women compared to a control group. The study is designed as non-randomized controlled trial. Forty-two pregnant women at least on the 14th week of gestation will be included. Control group will include women receiving regular care, but no chiropractic care. Care will extend for 4 weeks. Outcomes measures include sleep quality, pain and quality of life questionnaires.

Effect of Iontophoresis vs. Ultrasound and Iontophoresis in Plantar Fasciitis". Plantar Fasciitis"

Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of plantar fascia.The main symptom of plantar fasciitis manifests itself as localized pain in the inner area of the foot and increases in intensity after long periods of standing or resting. Its etiology is multifactorial and risk factors include overweight, female gender, physical exercise (impact sports), biomechanical imbalances of the foot and possible dysfunction of the functional twin-ankle-plantar system.Generally speaking, conservative measures are recommended as initial treatment for plantar fasciitis, and in situations where these are ineffective, corticosteroids are sometimes administered. At the local level, the route of administration can be by infiltration or iontophoresis.Iontophoresis consists of administering a drug through the skin by applying an electric current locally. This technique can be considered as a safe and effective method within the SLTF (Transcutaneous Drug Delivery Systems). It consists of introducing ions through the skin by means of electricity using a direct current, with an electrode carrying a positive charge (anode) and a negative charge (cathode). Its administration is produced thanks to the repulsive force to carry the compound through the skin by means of galvanic current. This study aims to assess whether treatment with iontophoresis in subjects with plantar fasciitis can show a more positive evolution in pain after a 6-week treatment period (treatment frequency: 1 time per week) versus ultrasound (3 times per week) for 6 weeks.

Research Study to Look at How Well Semaglutide Works in People Living With Heart Failure, Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes

This study will look at how participants' daily life is affected by their heart failure. The study will also look at the change in participants' body weight. This study will compare the effect of semaglutide (a new medicine) compared to "dummy" medicine on body weight and heart failure symptoms. Participants will either get semaglutide or "dummy" medicine, which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants will need to take 1 injection once a week. The study medicine is injected with a thin needle in a skin fold in the stomach area, thigh or upper arm. During the study participants will have talks with the study staff about healthy lifestyle and physical activity. The study will last for about 59 weeks, that is a little more than 1 year. Participants will have 12 clinic visits with the study doctor. - At 6 of the visits participants will have blood samples taken. - At 5 of the visits participants will be asked to fill in a questionnaire - At 4 of the visits participants will have to do a 6-minute walking test - At 3 of the visits participants will have a test to check the heart. - participants will have their eyes checked before or at the start of the study and at the end of the study Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or plan to become pregnant during the study period.

Inspiratory Muscle Training in Cerebral Palsy Patients

To evaluate the effectiveness of two protocols of inspiratory muscle training (IMT) in cerebral palsy patients to improve respiratory strength and spirometric parameters. Low-intensity vs high-intensity resistance training programs. Evaluations: Determination of the maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP) and the maximum expiratory pressure (MEP); spirometry - peak expiratory flow (PEF), forced expiratory volume in first second (FEV1) and clinical evaluations. The participants will be evaluated at the beginning and end of the intervention period. Intervention: There are two groups of patients, one works with low loads (20% MIP) and another with high loads (40% MIP). They train 5 days/week 10 cycles lasting 1 minute. There is a rest of 1 minute between each cycle.
