There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The study intended to include >200 infertile women with impaired ovulation who will be subjected to HRT at D-21 of previous menstrual cycle (Group A) or D-1 of menses of replacement cycle (Group B). All patients received the same luteal support in the form of intravaginal progesterone two day before embryos transfer until blood pregnancy test was performed 14 days later. Clinical pregnancy was diagnosed by measurement of β-human chorionic gonadotropin level and was confirmed 2-weeks later by TVU.
Endometrial thickness has been used as an indicator of risk for endometrial hyperplasia and carcinoma in asymptomatic perimenopausal women. However, there is no cutoff value in perimenopausal women and the same thickness does not express the same endometrial volume in different endometrium because uterine lengths may be different and endometrial irregularities may exist. Many studies assessed endometrial volume measured by three-dimensional (3D) TVS as a predictor of malignancy in women with postmenopausal bleeding. To our knowledge there is no study assess endometrial volume measured by two dimension TVS in prediction of endometrial pathology, however it is cheap and available than 3D TVS.
the effect of eradication of H-pylori in pregnant patients with iron deficiency anemia on the level of hemoglobin after iron therapy.
Comparison between interlocking multi-twisted wires and Eight figure of sternum closure post open heart surgery in egptian patients
This is a multicenter randomized study designed to determine if ultrasound indicated cerclage reduces the incidence of spontaneous preterm birth <34 weeks in asymptomatic women with twin gestations and cervical length ≤15mm, diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasound between 16 to 23 6/7 weeks of gestation.
1. RATIONALE All-ceramic endocrowns are bonded to the tooth using adhesive resins creating strong bonds to the tooth structure resulting in strengthening effect and reducing the need for post and core. various CAD/CAM materials can be used for the fabrication of endocrowns including lithium-disilicate reinforced glass-ceramics, feldspathic ceramics, in ceram alumina and in ceram spinell as well as hybrid ceramics and composites. Fewer data are available on the clinical performance of the different materials used for endocrowns. With the rapid innovation in the dental restorative materials clinicians are sometimes confused when selecting the best restorative material to restore an endodontically treated tooth with an endocrown. This is due to lack of data with regard to clinical performance of these restorations as well as the degree of patient satisfaction. 2. OBJECTIVES P= Endodontically treated teeth indicated for endocrown I1= Feldspathic endocrown I2= Hybrid endocrown C= IPS e.max Endocrown O= Clinical performance Research question In patients with endodontically treated teeth requiring endocrown restorations, what are the clinical performance and the level of patient satisfaction of cerasmart endocrown versus lithium disilicate (e-max) ceramic endocrowns?
This study aims to explore the feasibility of using loss-of-resistance technique for Quadratus Lumborum block (QLB). And to compare between the Ultrasound guided QLB type II and the loss-of-resistance technique for QLB as regards the degree and duration of analgesia and side effects.
cataracts could be cured with eye drops. Some studies reported that in chronic renal failure, the occurrence of cataract is rare and the mechanism is unknown. The aim of this research is to describe correlation between urea concentration in the serum and aqueous humor and development of age related cataract.
The incidence of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD) ranges from 0.4/100,000 to 29.0/100,000 children <15 years of age. There is significant variability in incidence within racial groups and is frequently higher in lower socioeconomic classes. The typical age at presentation ranges from 4 to 8 years (average 6.5 years). The optimal treatment goal in Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD) is to obtain a spherical femoral head with good congruency to prevent or delay the onset of osteoarthritis after skeletal maturity. There is agreement that patients younger than 5years with a good remodeling capacity have a particularly excellent prognosis, irrespective of treatment.
Intrauterine growth restriction is an important problem in neonatal care. Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is defined as a fetal weight below the 10th percentile for gestational age. One of the main causes of IUGR is placental insufficiency. Nitric oxide(NO) increases placental blood flow. So,it might be useful to improve IUGR pregnancy outcome .
