NCT ID: NCT03638037 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Vitamin D Deficiency

Correlation Between Maternal Vitamin D Level And Preterm Birth

Start date: September 2, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Assessment of correlation between vitamin D level and prevalence of preterm births remains limited. The exact role of vitamin D in preterm birth has not yet been clearly defined ,where some studies showed vitamin D deficiency increased the risk of preterm birth while other studies found no correlation. In this study will try to continue research on this subject.

NCT ID: NCT03638024 Recruiting - Placenta Accreta Clinical Trials

Cell-free Fetal DNA Concentration in Cases of Abnormal Placental Invasion .

Study type: Observational

Cell free fetal DNA might predict abnormal placental invasion

NCT ID: NCT03637673 Recruiting - Keratoconus Clinical Trials

The Possible Role of Thyroxine in Keratoconus Development

Start date: June 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Keratoconus (KC) is a corneal ectatic disorders, with incidence rate 1 per 50,000 among the population. Hormonal imbalances may be associated with KC as it affects the corneal metabolism. In this study, we aim to examine this clinical association between thyroid gland dysfunction (TGD) and KC.

NCT ID: NCT03635203 Recruiting - C-shaped Root Canal Clinical Trials

C-shaped Root Canal Prevalence and Configurations in Egyptians

Start date: September 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence and configuration of C-shaped root canal of mandibular first and second molars among members of an Egyptian sub-population using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). The prevalence and distribution of the C-shape canal configurations with respect to gender and age will be also investigated. Data regarding the prevalence and configurations of C-shaped root canal in the first and the second mandibular molars in Egyptian sub-population is lacking which might affect the correct implementation of chemo-mechanical instrumentation and obturation.
