There are about 11304 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Denmark. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Brief Summary: The aim of this trial is to investigate if dexmedetomidine prolongs the duration of an adductor canal block. By using healthy volunteers the investigators can perform a bilateral adductor canal block and thereby control for a systemic effect to clarify if the effect is actually peripheral or systemic. The investigators hypothesis is that dexmedetomidine as an adjunct to a local anaesthetic prolongs the duration of a peripheral nerve block by a peripheral mechanism.
The primary objective in this study is to examine the seasonal variation in genetic markers in the deep neck adipose tissue in humans. Human adipose tissue biopsies are taken from patients admitted for elective surgery in the neck. During the surgical procedure a subcutaneous adipose tissue biopsy is taken for reference.
To develop a pragmatic migraine model the investigators will induce headache in healthy volunteers and in patients with migraine without aura with a phosphodiesterase inhibitor (cilostazol). If the headache responds to sumatriptan, the model can be used to test new drug candidates.
To develop a pragmatic migraine model the investigators will induce headache in healthy volunteers and in patients with migraine without aura with a long lasting Nitrogen Oxide (NO) donor. If the headache responds to sumatriptan, the model can be used to test new drug candidates.
To evaluate the effect of erenumab compared to placebo on the change from baseline in monthly migraine days, in adults with episodic migraine.
Adoptive T cell therapy with tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) has achieved impressive clinical results with durable complete responses in patients with metastatic melanoma. The TILs are isolated from patients own tumor tissue followed by in vitro expansion and activation for around 4-6 weeks. Before TIL infusion the patients receive 1 week of preconditioning chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide and fludarabine. After TIL infusion Interleukin-2 is administered to support T cell acitivation and proliferation in vivo. Recent studies suggest, that TIL therapy works in other cancers than Metastatic Melanoma, including Ovarian Cancer. In this study TIL therapy is administered to patients with metastatic Ovarian Cancer.
The purpose of this study is to compare the overall survival of nivolumab versus chemotherapy in subjects with relapsed SCLC.
The overall objective is to evaluate the long-term efficacy of Lamazym i.v. treatment in patients with alpha-Mannosidosis previously enrolled in Lamazym trials and currently receiving the treatment according to the AfterCare Program.
The main purpose of this study is to explore the impact of the birth environment on women's birth experience and relevant birth outcomes in the experimental Labour room compared to a standard Labour room.
