Investigator initiated controlled multi-centre trial in a Prospective, Randomised, Open, Blinded Endpoint (PROBE) design. Patients will be randomised in a 1:1 ratio either to treatment with tolvaptan for six weeks followed by six weeks observation without trial medication or no tolvaptan treatment, but following the same visit and investigation plan as the subjects taking tolvaptan.

Physiotherapy or Fasciotomy as Treatment for Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome in the Lower Leg?

It is hypothesized that physiotherapy including a change in running landing pattern and surgical fasciotomy are equally good as treatment options for chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS) of the anterior compartment of the lower leg. The endpoints/outcomes are: Change from week 0 (start of study) to week 12 (completion of intervention) in: patient reported outcome measure (PROM) (Exercise induced leg pain Questionnaire (EILP)). Secondary outcomes are: Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score after an "exercise provocation test": Change in intracompartmental pressure (ICP)Change in muscle compartment compliance. Change in Global Rating of Change Score/Scale (GRC). Change in Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) The study is important because: 1. Results from recent studies suggest that physiotherapy represents a valid alternative to surgery for the treatment of CECS. Surgery is currently standard treatment and a change towards physiotherapy as primary treatment could potentially reduce both complication rates and costs. 2. Intracompartmental pressure (ICP) is gold standard for diagnosing CECS. However, the association between ICP and symptoms of CECS, both before and after physiotherapeutic and surgical treatment, muscle compartment compliance and intracompartmental perfusion, has not been thoroughly investigated.

COS-P for Parents of Children Referred to Child Psychiatric Services

Background:The quality of attachment is greatly influenced by parental sensitivity. Attachment based interventions are designed to promote parental sensitivity, to change parental mental representations and to improve understanding of the developmental needs of the child. Very few studies have investigated the effect of attachment-based interventions on psychiatric symptoms in children. Targeting parental sensitivity and the parent-child interaction might have an important impact on psychiatric symptoms in a clinical sample of children referred to child psychiatric services. Objectives: The primary objective is to investigate whether Circle of Security-Parenting (COS-P) has an effect on parental sensitivity in parents of children referred to child psychiatric services. The secondary objectives are to investigate the effect on children's behavioral and emotional symptoms and the parental stress and reflective functioning after 10 weeks of intervention and at the 24 week follow-up. The study is also exploring the effect of parental attachment style, parental stress and parental psychopathology on the effect of the intervention. Methods: The trial will include 128 families of children (age 3-8 years) who are referred to child psychiatric services in a randomized and controlled design. Included families will be randomized to COS-P+ Treatment as Usual (TAU) or TAU only. Perspectives: Considering the important impact of the quality of the parent-child relationship on the child's well-being, it is essential to target it in interventions and to investigate the relation with psychiatric symptoms. Generally there is a lack of interventions targeting parental sensitivity in psychiatric child populations. Working with the parents on the child-parent relation, might have an important impact on their children's current psychiatric symptoms and could additionally prevent future psychopathology.

Purpose: This study evaluates the subacute effect of levosimendan infusion on exercise capacity and exercise hemodynamics compared with placebo in patients with advanced chronic heart failure. Hypothesis: Treatment with 6 hours infusion of levosimendan compared with placebo improves exercise capacity and exercise hemodynamics evaluated by change in CO/PCWP. Design: The study is a prospective multi-center, double-blinded, placebo controlled randomized study. 42 consecutive patients who meet the eligibility criteria will be enrolled.

Persistence of MR3 in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) After a 2nd Stop of TKI Treatment

This study will enroll CML patients who have failed a first TKI stopping attempt. After failure and at least a year of TKI treatment, patients will proceed to dasatinib treatment for another 2 years. If MR4 or better is re-achieved and maintained for at least one year, patients will be eligible for a second stop. After verification of MR4, TKI treatment will be stopped and patients followed in the same manner as after first stop. If MMR is lost (BCR-ABL >0.1% (IS)), TKI treatment will once again be restarted.
