NCT ID: NCT03395587 Recruiting - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Efficiency of Vaccination With Lysate-loaded Dendritic Cells in Patients With Newly Diagnosed Glioblastoma

GlioVax
Start date: March 6, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the study is to determine whether overall survival of newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients treated with lysate-loaded, mature dendritic cell vaccines as add-on to the standard of care consisting of resection, radiotherapy with concomitant temozolomide chemotherapy and subsequent adjuvant temozolomide chemotherapy is superior to the treatment with the standard of care alone.

NCT ID: NCT03391778 Recruiting - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Adoptive Cell Therapy Long-term Follow-up (LTFU) Study

Start date: April 9, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial will evaluate long term safety of participants who have received GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) adoptive cell therapy for up to 15 years following last adoptive cell therapy infusion.

NCT ID: NCT03389464 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Computer-based Treatment of Dysfunctional Beliefs in Depressive Inpatients

Start date: January 8, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present study is to investigate whether confronting depressive patients with their dysfunctional core beliefs via a computer program results in a reduction of the patients' dysfunctional beliefs. Patients will be presented with a virtual agent confronting them with their dysfunctional core beliefs (e.g. "You are worthless"). Participants will be instructed to contradict these virtual agents (e.g. "That's not true, I'm a wonderful person").

NCT ID: NCT03389282 Recruiting - Healthy Subjects Clinical Trials

Metabolites of Tear Fluid

Metabol-T
Start date: November 1, 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The pilot trial evaluates the use of modified Schirmer strips and is designed to evaluate inter-individual range of metabolites in tear film.

NCT ID: NCT03389178 Recruiting - Prenatal Stress Clinical Trials

Fetal Biomarkers of Chronic Maternal Stress During Pregnancy

FELICITy
Start date: July 1, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The investigators´ main hypothesis is that prenatal stress (PS)- induced programming during fetal and postnatal development is reflected in epigenetic and autonomic nervous system (ANS) biomarkers which can be harnessed for early detection and follow-up of affected children. By integrating multiple non-invasively obtainable sources of information using novel epigenetic, electrophysiologic and statistical approaches, the trial could yield progress in maternal-fetal medicine, offering a more precise and truly personalized prediction and new possibilities for designing interventions to improve neurodevelopmental outcomes of pregnancy affected by PS.

NCT ID: NCT03387436 Recruiting - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

The "Hand-in-Hand Study": Improvement of Quality of Life in Palliative Cancer Patients Through Collaborative Advance Care Planning

COLAP
Start date: December 4, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the effect of a collaborative advance care planning intervention on the quality of life in palliative oncological patients. Research indicates, that talking about wishes for end of life care and death, may improve the quality of life, but can be difficult for involved parties. The intervention especially developed for this study trys to reduce psychosocial barriers that make conversations about these topics difficult. The study will measure the effect of the intervention on patients and caregivers quality of life. The study will give additional information about implementation of advance care planning interventions in different care settings in a complex health care systems.

NCT ID: NCT03386734 Recruiting - Cervical Cancer Clinical Trials

International Validation Study of Sentinel Node Biopsy in Early Cervical Cancer

SENTICOLIII
Start date: May 3, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

SENTICOL III is large prospective multicenter international randomized study designed to validate the Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) mapping technique in early cervical cancer. This "validation study" will compare the outcome of patients with negative SLN (experimental arm) vs patients with negative SLN + Pelvic Lymph Node dissection (PLN)(reference arm). There will be a "quality assurance" program which will be developed in participating centers with detailed requirements in terms of surgeons' qualifications, pathology qualification, SLN ultrastaging, standardization of the procedure, etc. as well as respect of the "safety algorithm".

NCT ID: NCT03385434 Recruiting - Colonoscopy Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Endorings-2-assisted Colonoscopy: a New Accessory for Improvement of Adenoma Detection Rate?

Endorings-2
Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Screening colonoscopy for colorectal cancer is essential to diagnose and remove adenomas, precancerous stages of colorectal cancer. Unfortunately approximately 25 % of all adenomas are missed during the examination. Recently a new colonoscopy accessory, the Endorings-2 (EndoAid Ltd., Casearea, Israel), has been designed to improved the detection of adenomas during colonoscopy (adenoma detection rate). Endorings-2 is a silicone-rubber device that is fitted on the colonoscope and is equipped with circular flexible silicon rings mechanically stretching the colonic folds during withdrawal. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of Endorings-2 to improve the adenoma detection rate in a prospective, blinded clinical trial. 292 patients with an indication for a screening colonoscopy shall be included (1:1 randomization in standard colonoscopy versus Endorings-2-assisted colonoscopy).

NCT ID: NCT03385200 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Early Primary Breast Cancer

KVUS at Neoadjuvant CTx of Breast Cancer

Start date: December 12, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Effect of the contrast-enhanced diagnostic ultrasound during neoadjuvant chemotherapy of breast cancer on the achieved tumor size reduction and tolerability of chemotherapy
