There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The study will assess the long-term (up to 5 years) safety and performance in patients with open-angle glaucoma uncontrolled by topical hypotensive medications who had previously been implanted with a MINIject glaucoma implant.
The intention of the study is to investigate whether Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) will improve postural deformities of patients with Parkinson's disease.
The main objective of this clinical trial represents the evaluation of efficacy of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor Cabozantinib in patients with NEN G3 with a proliferation rate of Ki67 20 - 60%.
Endovascular thrombectomy is the standard of care for acute ischaemic stroke due to large-vessel occlusion. Current guidelines for periprocedural anaesthesiological care give gross recommendations on management of stroke patients during recanalization, but lack detailed information. To determine how anaesthesiologists support endovascular thrombectomy with regard to anaesthetic technique, choice of substances, haemodynamic management, and ventilation. With a multivariate analysis, the investigators will look for the factors of anesthetic management that are independently correlated with a good or bad outcome.
A Phase II study of immunotherapy with Durvalumab (MEDI4736) and Tremelimumab in combination with either Y-90 SIRT or DEB-TACE for intermediate stage HCC with pick-the-winner design
There is an urgent need for transcatheter tricuspid interventions, as pharmaceutical therapy becomes ineffective in advanced disease stages and surgery remains associated with high mortality rates. Despite the promising results, in some patients, although good procedural results were achieved, no clinical improvements were measured. Right ventricular dysfunction is suspected to be the cause of the failed therapeutic strategy. Therefore this study aims to analyze right ventricular function with magnet resonance imaging before and 3-months after the procedure in order to gain insight into the prevalence and dynamics of right ventricular dysfunction in severe tricuspid regurgitation and to identify possible predictors for treatment failure.
The study aims to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and tolerability of subcutaneous (SC) blinatumomab for treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and recommended phase 2 dose(s) (RP2D) of SC administered blinatumomab. It will also conduct a clinical PK evaluation of SC1 and SC2 blinatumomab formulations.
The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility, patient satisfaction and time saving of a telemedical risk assessment and preoperative evaluation for anesthesia.
Evaluation of the impact of an activity tracker based fitness programme on the Qualitiy of Life after oncological therapy.
Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is recommended for the treatment of severe depression. But, despite the high remission rates the use of ECT is strongly limited by the social stigma and treatment-emergent cognitive side effects in patients. The most relevant is retrograde amnesia (RA), because it can persists for months and years. To measure RA after ECT the short-form of the Autobiographical Memory Interview (SF-AMI) is commonly used. However, the validation of the German SF-AMI has not yet been carried out. Thus, the aim of this study is to validate the German SF-AMI in depressed patient and healthy controls. The investigators hypothesize that the German SF-AMI is reliable and valid to quantify RA.
